Symptoms of physiological adnexal cysts

Ovarian cysts are generally considered to be benign tumors of the ovaries, and only a few can develop malignant changes. Women are more likely to develop ovarian cysts between the ages of 20 and 50, among which physiological ovarian cysts account for a large proportion of the female patient population. So what are the symptoms of physiological ovarian cysts? Let me explain it to you here.

The causes of ovarian cysts include genetic factors, and endocrine disorders are also one of the main factors; long-term psychological stress, study and training, too much work pressure, depression, and long-term intake of estrogen in the environment can cause endocrine disorders and excessive secretion of certain hormones, which can easily lead to the occurrence of ovarian cysts.

The symptoms of physiological ovarian cysts are generally not serious. The clinical symptoms are that when the doctor palpates the patient, he finds a cystic mass in the abdomen that may be protruding. Doppler ultrasound examination can reveal an obvious mass with a low-density echo area in the mass, which means that the mass contains fluid. Patients generally do not experience tenderness and rebound pain. Only when there are signs of infection will obvious abdominal irritation symptoms occur. Because ovarian cysts are physiological, in other words, they do not require temporary treatment. The characteristic of this type of physiological ovarian cyst is that it usually occurs during the ovulation period of women. Under normal circumstances, no treatment is required. After ovulation, most physiological ovarian cysts will disappear automatically.

In general, the symptoms of physiological ovarian cysts are generally manifested as cystic masses that can be promoted in the abdomen. It can be on one side of the uterus and ovary, or it can appear on both sides of the uterus and ovaries. It varies from person to person. Physiological ovarian cysts are benign diseases and are not likely to become malignant. They usually appear during a woman's ovulation period. If there are no obvious symptoms, they generally do not require treatment. Most physiological ovarian cysts will disappear automatically. Therefore, if female friends are diagnosed with physiological ovarian cysts, they don’t need to worry too much.
