The physiological functions of the bilateral fallopian tubes are complex. If there is an imbalance between the two hormones, it may affect the transport of the fertilized egg and cause tubal pregnancy.

(3) IUD. The relationship between the intrauterine device (IUD) and the incidence of ectopic pregnancy has attracted great attention from countries around the world. Many experts and scholars have found that with the widespread use of IUD, the incidence of ectopic pregnancy has increased, and the reason may be due to fallopian tube inflammation after the use of IUD. However, the recommendations are not yet unified.

(4) After fallopian tube surgery. Regardless of whether bilateral tubal sterilization is performed by ligation, electrocoagulation, or cuff, if bilateral tubal fistula or recanalization occurs, there is a possibility of tubal pregnancy.

(5) Pelvic endometriosis. It is mainly caused by mechanical factors. In addition, the uterine wall located in the pelvis may have a chemotactic effect on the fertilized egg, promoting its implantation outside the uterine cavity.

(6) The movement of the fertilized egg. During the ovulation period of one side of the uterus and ovary, after fertilization, the fertilized egg moves to the other side through the uterine cavity or abdomen and enters the bilateral fallopian tubes on the other side. This is the movement of the fertilized egg.
