How to arrange breastfeeding time while working during breastfeeding period

You always have to feed your child during the breastfeeding period. Breastfeeding is better for your child's physical condition. However, some mothers are busy with work, so they have to feed their children at work. So how should this time be arranged reasonably? What is the healthiest way? Here we will introduce how to arrange breastfeeding time at work during breastfeeding.

(1) If a female employee has an infant under one year old and needs to breastfeed the infant herself, her employer should provide her with two breastfeeding (including artificial feeding) periods of 30 minutes each during each working shift. The two breastfeeding breaks during each working shift of female employees can be combined. Breastfeeding time and the time spent traveling to and from breastfeeding within the unit are counted as working time.

When the lactation period is over, it is the hot season (July to August), and it can be extended by 1 to 2 months depending on the local climatic conditions. For twins or infants who are over one year old, the breastfeeding period may be appropriately extended due to illness or physical weakness, but not more than 6 months, as certified by the medical department.

(2) During the breastfeeding period, the employer of a female employee shall not arrange for her to engage in labor with the third level of physical labor intensity as prescribed by the State or labor that is prohibited during the breastfeeding period, nor shall the employer arrange for her to extend her working hours or engage in night shift work. Units with the conditions should set up breastfeeding rooms. There are hand washing facilities in the room, and nurses are not allowed to enter the nursing room in work clothes.

The above is the arrangement for feeding time while at work during breastfeeding period. In our country, there are strict regulations on some labor measures and plans. These regulations often affect our daily life. Therefore, some women who want to go to work during breastfeeding must fully master the above knowledge.
