What are the effects of endometriosis?

Endometriosis lesions are actually a disease that is very common in women. We all know that if affected by this disease, the harm caused will be very serious. Therefore, in life, every female friend should be vigilant about the prevention of this disease. Here I will introduce some common knowledge and treatment issues of endometriosis lesions. I hope every woman can pay attention to it.

Endometriosis lesions in the abdominal wall incision are generally the result of endometrium implanted onto the abdominal wall incision during cesarean section. It changes with the menstrual cycle and is mostly local pain. Endometriosis lesions without abdominal wall incision will not cause infertility and miscarriage. There is no relationship between them, so don't worry. Surgery can be done to remove endometriosis lesions. If you want to have another child, there is no problem in removing the lesion during cesarean section. However, after 280 days of pregnancy, the ectopic endometrium does not undergo cyclical changes in menstruation and may atrophy. During the operation, it may be difficult to find the specific location, which increases the difficulty of the operation.

Most endometriosis lesions are located in the ovaries, uterosacral ligaments, serosa of the posterior wall of the lower uterus, rectal pouch, peritoneum of the sigmoid colon, and vaginal rectal diaphragm. Among them, invasion of the ovaries is the most common, accounting for about 80%. It can also be seen on the cervix, episiotomy, or abdominal wall surgical incisions. The disease can occur in the umbilicus, lungs, and limbs, but it is very rare. In fact, except for the spleen, it can be found in various parts of the body.

If you want to protect your health, you must not ignore some abnormal conditions in your body. Because the more you ignore treatment, the more you allow the disease to develop, and the more serious the natural impact and harm will be. As long as you are responsible for your health and treat the disease in time, you can solve the adverse effects it brings.
