Introduction to dietary therapy for dysmenorrhea

2. Boiled eggs with Corydalis and Leonurus: 20 grams of Corydalis, 50 grams of Leonurus, and 2 eggs. Add the above 3 ingredients to water and cook together. After the eggs are cooked, peel them and put them back into the pot and cook for about 20 minutes. You can drink the soup and eat the eggs.

Efficacy: It has the effects of regulating menstruation, relieving dysmenorrhea, replenishing blood, improving complexion, and moisturizing and beautifying the skin. 

3. Black bean and eggnog soup: 60 grams of black beans, 2 eggs, 100 ml of yellow wine or rice wine. Add black beans and eggs to water and cook.

Efficacy: It has the functions of regulating the middle, lowering qi and relieving pain. It is suitable for women with dysmenorrhea caused by deficiency of qi and blood, and has the effect of harmonizing blood and moisturizing the skin.

4. Motherwort and Cyperus rotundus soup: 100 grams each of motherwort and cyperus rotundus, 250 grams of chicken, and 5 scallions. Crush the scallion whites, and fry them with chicken, motherwort, and balsam pear in water. Drink soup and eat chicken.

Efficacy: Suitable for dysmenorrhea and can brighten the skin.

Through the understanding of dietary therapy methods for treating dysmenorrhea, women can feel at ease in using these methods to improve dysmenorrhea. However, these methods must be used for a long time, especially for women with more severe dysmenorrhea. It should be noted that these methods cannot be interrupted, otherwise the dysmenorrhea situation will not be improved well.
