Pregnancy 40 days, velvet hormone is only 200

We all know that if the test tube embryo develops normally, the hCG secreted by the test tube embryo will double every two days. Generally, around 20 days into pregnancy, hcg has exceeded 1,000. However, at 40 days of pregnancy, the level of hCG is only 200. This situation can only indicate two possibilities. The first is that the test tube embryo is an ectopic pregnancy and the hCG growth rate is slow; the second is that the test tube embryo has stopped growing and development, so the hCG has decreased.

We all know that if a woman is pregnant, the embryo in her body will secrete a sex hormone, commonly known as hcg. HCG will increase with the number of days of embryonic development, and will continue to grow in a cyclical manner. Generally speaking, if the test tube embryo grows normally, hCG will increase cyclically at a rate of doubling every two days. In other words, hcg starts at 0 and increases to 0, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024, etc.

Is it normal that the hCG level is only 200 on the 40th day of pregnancy? We all know that the doubling regularity of hCG is to double every two days. If the embryo develops normally, the hCG level will be over 1,000 by the 21st day of embryonic development. At 40 days of pregnancy, the level of hCG is only 200. Even if the embryonic development is slow, which causes the doubling of hCG to be not very good, it is impossible for the level of hCG to be only 200 at 40 days of pregnancy, unless it is an ectopic pregnancy. We all know that the growth rate of hcg in ectopic pregnancy is relatively slow.

Of course, whether it is an ectopic pregnancy or not cannot be determined solely from the hCG value when the chorionic villus growth hormone is only 200 on the 40th day of pregnancy. We all know that to determine whether the test tube embryo is an ectopic pregnancy, it is necessary to combine the results of B-ultrasound examination. At 40 days of pregnancy, the gestational sac of the test tube embryo should have been formed. We all know that the gestational sac of the test tube embryo should be formed between 30 and 40 days of pregnancy. If the B-ultrasound examination shows a gestational sac in the uterus, it means that the test tube embryo is not an ectopic pregnancy; if the B-ultrasound examination shows a mass outside the uterus, it means that the test tube embryo is an ectopic pregnancy.

And if the level of chorionic villus growth hormone is only 200 at 40 days of pregnancy, it does not necessarily mean an ectopic pregnancy. If the test tube embryo has stopped growing for a few days, then hcg has already started to decrease for a few days. If the hcg is only 200 on the 40th day of pregnancy, it is considered normal. Because even if there is a miscarriage, hcg will not drop to 0 immediately. It needs to drop gradually until it reaches 0. As for whether the test tube embryo has stopped growing and developing, it is necessary to conduct a re-examination, that is, to test the hcg value again in two days. If the hcg value increases, it means that the test tube embryo is an ectopic pregnancy; if the hcg value decreases without increasing, it means that the fetus is stillborn.

Therefore, if the test tube embryo develops normally, it is abnormal if the chorionic villus hormone is only 200 at 40 days of pregnancy. Generally speaking, if the test tube embryos grow and develop normally, hcg will double to over a thousand in a dozen days. However, if the test tube embryo is an ectopic pregnancy, the hcg growth rate is slow, and 200 hcg in 40 pregnancy days is also considered normal. In order to determine whether the test tube embryo is an ectopic pregnancy, we need to combine the B-ultrasound examination report. Of course, ectopic pregnancy is only one of the possibilities. It is also possible that the test tube embryo is an intrauterine pregnancy, but the test tube embryo has stopped growing and development, and hcg has decreased.
