How much does a natural birth cost?

Each hospital has different outpatient clinics, so it’s best to ask your doctor. Childbirth process:

1. The first stage of labor: long and original music

Cycle time: about 6 to 12 hours before delivery. Generally, the first stage of labor for first-time pregnant women is longer than that for multiparous women.

The first stage of labor is the beginning of the delivery. The cervix must be dilated during delivery. Generally, the cervix needs to be dilated to about 10 centimeters during the first stage of labor. It is the longest stage of labor in the entire delivery process.

The main feature of the first stage of labor is that the uterine contraction interval is shortened, from more than 30 seconds every 5 to 6 minutes at the beginning of frequent contractions to about 50 seconds every 2 to 3 minutes, and the cervical dilation rate is also getting faster and faster. Because uterine contractions are more frequent and tighter, and the time intervals are shortened, pregnant women will feel bloating and pain in the lower abdomen. At this time, pregnant women should bear it as much as possible and avoid shouting loudly to avoid wasting energy and being detrimental to the successful delivery of the second and third delivery processes.

2. The second stage of labor: the whole process of exertion

Cycle time: about 1 to 2 hours, generally not more than 2 hours.

The second stage of labor refers to the complete opening of the pregnant woman's cervix, the process of fetal delivery, and the process of the fetus separating from the pregnant woman's body and being born. In the second stage of labor, the intensity of frequent contractions will increase. Under the condition of full cervical dilation, the head of the fetus drops to the pelvis under the effect of frequent contractions. As the delivery process progresses, the fetus continues to be delivered from the pregnant mother. If this process lasts too long, close to 2 hours, it is necessary to inject oxytocin to increase the frequency of uterine contractions or use other midwifery methods.
