What are the signs of colon cancer in women?

The infection is generally a malignant tumor that occurs in the human digestive tract. Many men and women may have a chance of developing colon cancer. In fact, there is not much difference in the symptoms of colon cancer between men and women. This is why many women are particularly prone to ignoring some signs of colon cancer, thus missing the best time for treatment. So are there any warning symptoms when female patients develop colon cancer?

1. Colorectal cancer is a common malignant tumor of the digestive tract, which has a great impact on people's health. The early symptoms of colorectal cancer are not much different between men and women. Most early colorectal cancers have blood in the stool or changes in bowel habits, such as diarrhea, constipation, or alternating between the two as the primary manifestations, and may even be confused with hemorrhoids or enteritis. Therefore, once you suspect you may have colorectal cancer, you should visit a regular hospital's general surgery department promptly for a specialist physical examination, including digital rectal examination and colonoscopy, to further clarify the diagnosis.

2. The main symptoms of colorectal cancer in women include blood in the stool, increased frequency of stool, thinning of the stool, or alternating diarrhea and constipation. Patients may also have abdominal pain, and some patients experience tenesmus and discomfort during defecation. As the disease progresses, the tumor increases in size and local obstruction symptoms may appear, manifested as nausea, vomiting, and abdominal distension. In the late stage, weight loss, fatigue, and anemia may occur. Surgery is the treatment of choice for colorectal cancer. If the patient has concurrent cardiopulmonary disorders or distant metastasis, surgery is not recommended and radiotherapy, chemotherapy and targeted therapy should be used instead. Patients with colorectal cancer should eat a high-vitamin diet, eat more fresh fruits and vegetables, keep bowel movements smooth, and reduce the absorption of toxins in the intestines.

3. There are quite a lot of diseases that can cause frequent and urgent urination, and female rectal cancer is no exception. This is because when cancer cells invade the prostate or bladder, a series of urinary difficulties will occur, such as: urinary pain, frequent urination and urgency. Early symptoms of rectal cancer may include blood in the stool. The amount of blood is not much, the blood is bright red, and it adheres to the surface of the stool. As cancer cells continue to grow, they can easily infiltrate the intestinal cavity, causing intestinal stenosis, constipation, difficulty defecation, etc.
