Why can't I get pregnant with normal ovulation?

Under normal circumstances, a woman who is preparing for pregnancy will get pregnant within a year and a half. If a woman's ovulation is normal but she is not pregnant, she needs to be examined to find out the cause and then receive treatment. Not only women need to undergo infertility tests, but men also need to do so. In order to improve the quality of the fetus, they need to supplement folic acid during the pregnancy preparation period, strengthen physical exercise, eat more nutritious foods, and go to the hospital regularly for follicle testing.

Under normal circumstances, the ovaries of women of childbearing age will release a mature egg every month. If women have sex at this time, the chances of getting pregnant will be greater. However, it does not mean that you will win 100%. Even if you "sow the seeds" during the ovulation period, there is no guarantee of pregnancy. Because ovulation period is only one of the important factors for successful conception. The quality of eggs and sperm is also an important factor affecting conception. In addition, there are other factors that influence it.

1. Unhealthy eggs

If the woman has normal ovulation, can ovulate on time, and has sex during the ovulation period, but her eggs are not healthy or mature enough, the sperm and egg will not be able to combine normally, resulting in the woman ovulating normally but not being able to get pregnant.

2. Abnormal sperm

If the female's eggs are healthy, but the male's sperm is not motile enough, does not liquefy, or is dead or has no sperm, etc., the sperm and egg cannot combine normally, resulting in the female ovulating but not being able to get pregnant. Therefore, sperm testing is necessary.

3. Problems with the fallopian tubes

If the woman's fallopian tube is blocked, has water accumulation, adhesions or fallopian tube deformities, or has abnormal peristalsis, it will affect the normal combination of the man's sperm and the woman's egg, hinder the normal passage of sperm, and affect direct conception, resulting in the woman ovulating but not being able to get pregnant.

IV. Immune factors

It refers to the presence of antisperm antibodies in the female reproductive tract or serum, which cause sperm to agglutinate each other, lose vitality or die, leading to infertility or sterility. In addition, some infertile women have antibodies against their own egg zona pellucida in their serum, which can prevent sperm from penetrating the egg and fertilizing it, and can also cause infertility.

5. Uterine and cervical factors

Factors such as abnormal cervical development, chronic cervical inflammation, uterine hypoplasia, endometriosis, etc. may also cause female infertility. Once the above symptoms are found, it is best to go to the hospital for examination and treatment in time.
