How long does it take for vaginal yeast infection to heal?

Vulvar fungal infection is the most common disease, but the severity of each person's illness is completely different. Especially when you are resting or sleeping at night, you will feel that the symptoms are more severe. You will find some itching in your vagina, and your leucorrhea will become somewhat abnormal and will increase significantly. Therefore, you need to prescribe the right medicine according to these symptoms.

The most common ones are: 1. Vulvar discomfort: including varying degrees of vulvar itching, which generally has no obvious time limit, but the itching is more obvious when resting or under stress. There is also varying degrees of external burning sensation, and some patients experience pain during sexual intercourse. 2. Abnormal leucorrhea: The amount of leucorrhea increases significantly and is thin, homogeneous or thin, pasty in color, grayish white, grayish yellow or milky yellow, with a special fishy odor. Since alkaline prostatic fluid can cause the release of amines, the vaginitis at this time will manifest as worsening odor during or after sexual intercourse. The pH value of the vagina increases during menstruation, so the odor may also increase during or after menstruation. A very small number of patients with vaginitis may experience lower abdominal pain, difficulty in sexual life, and abnormal urination. The vaginal mucosal epithelium does not show obvious congestion when vaginitis occurs.

1. Avoid wearing tight pants and synthetic underwear. Wear breathable and dry pure cotton products instead. Do not use cleaning fluid frequently to avoid bacterial imbalance. Do not use panty liners except during menstruation. Underwear should be exposed to the sun frequently or boiled in boiling water. 2. If you insist on a reasonable and hygienic sex life, be careful not to have sex too frequently; remember to wash the vulva with warm water before and after sex. 3. Diabetic patients should keep their blood sugar within the normal range and avoid abusing drugs and immunosuppressants.

3. After going to the toilet, use toilet paper to clean your lower body from front to back to avoid bringing bacteria from the rectum into the vagina. 5. Try to avoid swimming as much as possible, because Candida albicans has a strong ability to survive in water, and women’s chances of being infected with Candida albicans increase during swimming.

Vaginitis, or inflammation of the vagina, is a group of conditions that cause vulvovaginal symptoms such as itching, burning, irritation, and abnormal discharge. The vagina of a normal healthy woman has a natural defense function against the invasion of pathogens due to the characteristics of its anatomical tissue. For example, the closure of the vaginal opening, the close contact of the anterior and posterior walls of the vagina, the proliferation of vaginal epithelial cells and the keratinization of surface cells under the influence of estrogen, and the balance of vaginal acidity and alkalinity inhibit the reproduction of alkaline-adapted pathogens. The cervical mucus is alkaline. When the natural defense function of the vagina is destroyed, pathogens can easily invade and cause vaginal inflammation.

Under normal circumstances, aerobic bacteria and anaerobic bacteria live in the vagina, forming normal vaginal flora. If the ecological balance between the vagina and the bacterial flora is disrupted for any reason, conditional pathogens may also form. Common clinical conditions include: bacterial vaginosis (accounting for 22% to 50% of symptomatic women), candidal vaginitis (17% to 39%), Trichomonas vaginitis (4% to 35%), senile vaginitis, and vaginitis in young women.
