What about cervical microwave therapy?

The cervix refers to the part below the female uterus, which plays a very important role in life. Especially for married women, they should learn to protect their cervix well, because the probability of cervical disease is still very high. The more common clinical conditions include cervicitis, cervical cancer, cervical erosion, etc. There are many different treatments for cervical diseases. So, is cervical microwave treatment effective?

The principle of microwave treatment of diseases is relatively complex. From the current research results at home and abroad, it can be seen that microwave treatment of diseases is mainly achieved through thermal effects and biological effects. Due to the magnetic resistance between polar molecules, the oscillation is damped, thereby consuming microwave energy and generating heat. This heat is used to achieve the purpose of curing the disease. This is the thermal effect of microwave therapy.

Research and experiments have shown that the therapeutic effect of using microwaves to irradiate the diseased area far exceeds that of other hot compress methods.

Microwave thermal effect

The human body is mostly composed of carbohydrates, and carbohydrate molecules are polar molecules. When polar molecules are exposed to a microwave field, their polarity changes with the microwave frequency, which is called polarity oscillation. The frequency of polarity oscillation is the same as the microwave frequency, and its amplitude is proportional to the microwave intensity. As we all know, Chinese medicine can treat colds and local inflammations through hot compresses and acupuncture; the body can achieve its own immune function through its own heat. So people wonder whether the heat generated by microwaves irradiating the human body can achieve the purpose of curing diseases? The main reasons for the good effect of microwave thermal therapy are:

main reason

(1) Microwave thermal therapy is a process in which microwaves are irradiated onto the diseased area, and the diseased tissue absorbs the microwave energy to generate heat itself. Therefore, the diseased tissue heats up faster than other hot compresses, and the temperature is evenly distributed.

(2) Microwaves have the characteristic of selective heating: the dielectric constants of various tissues in the human body are different, so the ability of various tissues to absorb microwaves is also different. Tissues with strong microwave absorption capabilities heat up quickly, while tissues with weak microwave absorption capabilities heat up slowly. Diseased tissue often absorbs microwaves stronger than normal tissue and heats up faster, thus achieving the purpose of selective treatment. Other heat therapy methods do not have this feature.

(3) Microwave thermal therapy can confirm the location of the lesion, while other hot compress treatments cannot: If the lesion is inflamed, the microvessels in the lesion will become narrower due to the compression of the inflamed tissue, resulting in poor blood circulation. When the lesion is irradiated with microwaves, it is inevitable that the healthy tissue adjacent to the lesion will be irradiated at the same time, that is, the lesion and healthy tissues are heated by microwaves at the same time. For healthy tissues, most of the heat generated by absorbing microwaves is carried away by the circulating blood and dissipated out of the body through the skin; for diseased tissues, the temperature rises sharply due to poor blood circulation. When the temperature of local diseased tissue rises to 38℃-39℃, the affected area will feel pain. The painful area is the lesion area, thus accurately determining the location of the lesion. This feature is of great benefit in improving the efficacy and shortening the treatment course.
