Female urine bubbles

Female urine bubbles

Normal people will actually have foam in their urine when urinating, and women are no exception. In fact, urine contains some organic and inorganic substances, so foam is not uncommon. This is not a normal phenomenon in all situations. When there is a majority of protein in the urine, there will be a lot of bubbles in women's urine. And if the bubbles in the urine do not dissipate for a long time, then it is necessary to conduct an examination in this regard.

Is it normal for women to have foam in their urine?

For most people, it is normal to have foam when urinating. Under normal circumstances, urine contains some organic and inorganic substances, which make the urine more tensile and cause some foam. Therefore, foamy urine does not necessarily mean that there is something wrong with the body. You can use a simple method to determine whether your "foamy urine" is normal: let the foamy urine stand for a while. If the foam disappears, it may be because you drink too little water, which leads to concentrated urine. In summer, when the human body sweats a lot, this situation is more likely to occur. It is recommended to drink more water and eat more fresh vegetables and fruits.

Under what circumstances is it abnormal for women to have foam in their urine?

Only a very small number of people have foamy urine, which may be a clinical manifestation of proteinuria. The so-called proteinuria, as the name suggests, refers to the presence of a large amount of protein in the urine, and the conventional protein qualitative test is positive. Due to the low surface tension of protein, a lot of foam may be produced on the surface of urine. The normal glomerular filtration membrane has a selective filtration effect on plasma protein, which can effectively prevent most plasma proteins from filtering through the glomerulus, and only a very small amount of plasma protein enters the glomerular filtrate. When the kidney is diseased, the permeability of the glomerular filtration membrane increases, causing a large amount of protein to be filtered into the glomerular filtrate, far exceeding the reabsorption capacity of the renal tubules, and the protein enters the final urine to cause proteinuria. This cause is more common in primary or secondary glomerular diseases, tubular lesions, certain tumors (such as multiple myeloma, pancreatic or colon cancer), acute urinary tract inflammation and renal failure.

If the foam in the urine persists and there are symptoms such as frequent urination, urgency, pain when urinating, dizziness, tinnitus, weakness in the waist and knees, hair loss, gray hair and loose teeth, you need to go to the urology or nephrology department and ask a doctor for a detailed examination to determine whether it is true proteinuria and the disease that causes proteinuria.

Therefore, whether it is normal for women to have foam in their urine requires comprehensive judgment and analysis to know. Generally speaking, everyone's urine will have some foam, which is normal. However, if other complications occur, or if it is determined that this is a disease based on your medical history, you will need to actively go to the hospital for testing and treatment.
