When is the best time to do B-ultrasound to monitor ovulation?

When people are preparing for pregnancy, they will pay special attention to their physical condition and will go to the hospital regularly to monitor their ovulation through B-ultrasound to see if there is any abnormality. In fact, female friends should keep a normal mind during the period of preparing for pregnancy. Too much anxiety will affect the success of conception. In addition, B-ultrasound examinations should not be done frequently, only once or twice a month at most to avoid affecting the body.

B-ultrasound examination can obtain cross-sectional images of the organs to be examined, and can directly perform intuitive morphological observations. It can clearly display the structure of the gallbladder and bile duct, and can even see the intrahepatic bile duct with a diameter of only 1 to 2 mm. Based on the automatic measurement data character display, it can provide objective data such as the size of the gallbladder and bile duct diameter, the thickness of the tube wall, and the size of the lesion site.

Therefore, B-ultrasound examination has a high diagnostic value in biliary tract diseases, and B-ultrasound has become the most commonly used method for examining biliary tract diseases in clinical practice. This method can be used to diagnose gallstones, cholecystitis, tumors, parasites, etc., and it also has a high diagnostic accuracy rate for differential diagnosis of jaundice patients.

B-ultrasound also has its limitations that are difficult to overcome. First of all, its penetrating power is weak. It is difficult to reach deep into bones and air, so it is difficult to detect gas-containing organs such as the lungs and gastrointestinal tract. It is also inferior to X-rays and CT in diagnosing the adult brain. It is difficult to detect tumor tissue of about 1 cm, so the ultrasound examination is negative; it does not rule out the existence of tumor lesions of about 1 cm. Secondly, due to the occurrence of multiple repeated reflections and false reflections caused by interference from lateral discrimination, misdiagnosis is sometimes easily caused.

Type B ultrasound is the main method of ultrasound examination. Although ultrasound has developed by leaps and bounds, such as endoscopic ultrasound, ultrasound angiography, three-dimensional imaging, elastic imaging, etc., they are all developed on the basis of type B ultrasound. Therefore, all physicians who perform ultrasound work and patients being examined should understand the characteristics of B-type ultrasound, preparation before examination, examination scope and precautions, etc., so as to better use it to serve the examinees.

The scope of B-type ultrasound examination is very wide, and the preparation before examination is also different for different examination parts. ① Abdominal examination: including liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen and abdominal cavity. Generally, the examination should be done on an empty stomach, because after eating, the stomach and intestines produce gas, which affects the penetration of ultrasound. The examination is best performed on an empty stomach. ② Gynecological examination: You should drink water and hold your urine. When the bladder is full, squeeze the intestine to allow ultrasound to better penetrate into the pelvic cavity and clearly show the normal and abnormal conditions of the uterus and ovaries. ③Urinary system examination: You should drink more water. When the bladder is full, the internal stones, tumors, polyps, etc. will be better displayed. ④ Surface tumors and lesions: They can be examined immediately and generally do not require special preparation. ⑤ No preparation is required for heart and limb vascular examinations.
