A colposcopy examination does not actually take a long time, and it can be completed in about five or six minutes. It is the best way to examine the vagina for female friends. It can use the examination instrument to see whether there are other symptoms inside the vagina, and it can also be diagnosed in the early stages of the disease, thus providing a better foundation for treatment. A colposcope is a gynecological clinical diagnostic instrument and one of the gynecological endoscopes. It is suitable for the diagnosis of various cervical diseases and genital lesions, and is also an important method for early diagnosis of male and female sexual diseases. Invented by German scholar Hans Hinselman in 1925, after more than half a century of development, the colposcope has been widely used in the diagnosis of lower reproductive system diseases, especially in the diagnosis of lower reproductive tract precancerous lesions, early cancer and early sexual diseases. A colposcope can magnify the observed image by 10 to 60 times and detect tiny lesions that cannot be seen by the naked eye. With this magnification effect, doctors can clearly see the extremely tiny lesions on the cervical and genital epidermis, which helps improve the accuracy of judging lesions of the cervix, genitals, etc., provides a basis for early diagnosis of the disease, enables patients to receive effective treatment in advance, and greatly improves the cure rate of the disease. When performing a colposcopy, you only need to use a speculum to expose the vagina, cervix, and genitals. About 20 cm away from the vaginal opening or genitals, aim the colposcope lens at the epidermal tissue on the cervix or genitals, adjust the focus, and observe the enlarged image of the cervix or the epidermis on the genitals through the computer screen. The computer can store and play back these images, making it easier to follow up and observe the treatment effects. The patient felt no pain during the examination. Functional classification (1) Diagnostic colposcope is also called standard colposcope: This colposcope is only suitable for examination and does not have special energy matching for colposcopic surgery. (2) Diagnostic and therapeutic colposcope: This type of colposcope combines a common colposcope with a special energy source, such as a laser-combined colposcope. This colposcope can be used for local laser surgery while performing a colposcopy examination. Imaging system classification (1) Optical colposcope: refers to a colposcope that forms an image through an optical lens system. (2) Electronic colposcope: refers to a colposcope that converts optical information into digital information imaging through CCD. Data storage method (1) Ordinary colposcope: This refers to a colposcope that does not contain a computer component and the colposcope examination data is still saved in the traditional handwritten format. Image collection mainly involves taking photos and videos. (2) Computerized colposcope: refers to an optical or electronic colposcope that includes a computer graphic information management system. The colposcope data is stored in the computer in a standard computerized language and real-time image acquisition. |
