Do you feel anything during conception?

For women, everyone's physical constitution is different and the sensitivity level will also vary. Generally speaking, women do not feel anything during the conception process. Only a very small number of women may experience physiological implantation bleeding, that is, when the fertilized egg implants, there will be a small amount of vaginal bleeding. Most women generally do not have some sensitive symptoms. Let's take a look at this aspect.

Do you feel anything during conception?

The process from fertilization to implantation of the fertilized egg is almost silent, except that a few pregnant women may experience physiological implantation bleeding and slight cramps. However, over time, you will slowly begin to feel a series of symptoms appear.

In the eight days following ovulation and implantation, you may experience light pink or brown staining, and cramping may accompany this. There may be some spotting during the menstrual period, but this is not a true menstrual period. This is the result of a fertilized egg implanting in the uterine lining.

Nausea and vomiting (morning sickness) in early pregnancy: Nausea may be mistaken for the flu or some other serious illness. Sometimes it's just a little irritability or very mild nausea, but other times it may be retching or vomiting all day long. Nausea and vomiting are mainly caused by hormonal changes during pregnancy and do not require special treatment.

Early symptoms of pregnancy include abdominal discomfort and bloating: this is mainly because the ligaments supporting the uterus are pulled upward due to the swelling of the uterus during pregnancy. Just rest and you'll be fine. If the pain is severe and unbearable, or if it's constant rather than occasional cramps, you'll need to see a gynecologist.

In the early stages of pregnancy, due to the rapid increase in hormones, increased vaginal discharge is normal. If your vulva doesn't itch and your vaginal discharge doesn't have an odor, there's no need to worry. But if vulva itching and pain occur. If you have symptoms of leucorrhea in early pregnancy, such as yellow discharge or strange or foul smell, you need to go to the hospital for treatment.

The process of conception

Conception is a complex physiological process affected by many factors. The ovaries release normal eggs, and the semen contains normal sperm with good motility. The egg and sperm can meet and combine in the fallopian tube to form a fertilized egg, that is, a "seed". The fertilized egg can be transported to the uterine cavity. The endometrium must be suitable for the implantation of the fertilized egg, just like a living "seed" needs suitable "soil". If any one of these conditions is abnormal, it will affect pregnancy. It is best for the egg to be fertilized 15 to 18 hours after being released from the ovary. If it is not fertilized within 24 hours, it will begin to degenerate and lose its ability to fertilize. Sperm can generally survive in the female reproductive tract for 3 to 5 days, during which time they are capable of fertilization.

From a medical point of view, the process of conception includes: the ovaries release normal eggs; the fallopian tubes pick up the eggs and transport them to the normal fertilization site. Some patients are very worried that all the sperm will flow out after sexual intercourse and not enter the body. This confuses the two different concepts of "semen" and "sperm". What we see flowing out is semen, not sperm. There are a large number of sperm in the semen, but the size of the sperm is very small and can only be seen under a microscope. Normal sperm are very active and have good mobility, and can enter the female body for fertilization. Since the survival time of eggs and sperm in the body is relatively short, sexual intercourse must be performed at the right time to achieve conception.
