Chinese medicine: 15g of Schizonepeta, 15g of Pueraria, 15g of Apricot, 10g of Perilla leaf, 15g of Platycodon, 10g of Cassia twig, 3 slices of ginger, 5g of Licorice, 15g of Peucedanum; if it is a wind-heat cold with yellow and thick sputum, sore throat, and dry nasopharynx, use Sangju Drink with modifications.

2. Yin deficiency and lung dryness

Symptoms: dry cough without sputum, or blood in the sputum, dry mouth and throat, hot hands and feet, red tongue with little coating, and thin, smooth and rapid pulse.

Chinese medicine: lily 15g, stemona 15g, white peony 15g, raw rehmannia 15g, fritillaria 10g, mulberry leaf 10g, roasted loquat leaf 15g, ophiopogon 10g, platycodon 10g, anemarrhena 10g, licorice 5g.

3. Spleen and lung qi deficiency

Symptoms: Pregnant women cough frequently with white and sticky stool, mental fatigue, nausea and vomiting, tasteless mouth, pale tongue and slippery pulse.

Traditional Chinese medicine: Pseudostellaria 15g, Astragalus 20g, Atractylodes 15g, Tangerine Peel 10g, Pinellia 10g, Sophora japonica 15g, Aster 10g, Poria 15g, White Sinapis 15g, Cardamom 5g, Licorice 5g.

4. Fetal fire affects the lungs

Symptoms: Pregnant women cough, have difficulty coughing up phlegm, have thick yellow phlegm, or have a dry cough without phlegm, flushed face, dry mouth, yellow urine, constipation, red tongue with yellow coating, and a slippery and rapid pulse.

Traditional Chinese medicine: stir-fried Astragalus membranaceus 10g, Morus alba bark 15g, White Peony Root 15g, Lilium 15g, Trichosanthes seed 10g, Fritillaria 10g, Phragmites australis 15g, Houttuynia cordata 15g, Dipsacus asper 15g, Peucedanum 15g, Tangerine peel 15g, Licorice root 5g.
