How to detect ovulation during irregular menstruation

How to detect ovulation during irregular menstruation

We all know that women release an egg every month. The egg is released from the woman's ovary through the fallopian tube into the woman's uterus. The release of the egg is generally closely related to the woman's menstruation. Therefore, when a woman's menstruation is irregular, it is likely to cause abnormal ovulation. At this time, if a woman wants to conceive, it will be particularly difficult. So how should women measure ovulation when their menstruation is irregular?

There are two main reasons for irregular menstruation:

1. Caused by neuroendocrine dysfunction: mainly due to unstable or defective function of the hypothalamus-pituitary-ovarian axis, that is, menstrual disorder.

2. Caused by organic diseases or drugs, including local inflammation, tumors and developmental abnormalities, malnutrition of reproductive organs; intracranial diseases; other endocrine dysfunctions such as thyroid and adrenal cortex dysfunction, diabetes, Sheehan's disease, liver diseases, blood diseases, etc. Menstrual irregularities may occur in women who use drugs to treat mental illnesses, endocrine preparations, or intrauterine devices for contraception.

Suggestions: If you suffer from this disease, please go to a "high-tech" infertility specialist hospital with high technical content in time. Mainly based on the individual's actual situation, corresponding examinations are carried out, and symptomatic treatment is given under the guidance of an infertility expert.

Anovulation is a gynecological disease that many women suffer from and often occurs in women of all ages. Many patients are unable to determine whether they suffer from anovulation when they feel unwell, and thus miss the best period for treatment.

Female infertility test methods :

1. Hysterosalpingography: For women without inflammation in the reproductive tract, contrast agent is injected into the uterus under B-ultrasound 37 days after the menstruation is over to observe the filling of the uterus and fallopian tubes with contrast agent.

2. Hysteroscopy: Hysteroscopy can be used to understand the situation in the uterine cavity and to detect lesions that may cause infertility, such as uterine adhesions, submucosal fibroids, polyps, and uterine malformations. Treatment can also be performed under direct visual guidance of the hysteroscope during examination.

3. Laparoscopic examination: If you need to further understand the pelvic condition, laparoscopy can be used. Laparoscopic examination can directly observe whether the uterus, fallopian tubes, and ovaries have any lesions or adhesions, and determine whether the fallopian tubes are unobstructed; about 20% of patients can be found to have lesions that were not diagnosed before surgery through laparoscopy.

4. Immunological examination: This method can understand whether there are anti-sperm antibodies. In addition to anti-sperm antibody testing, post-coital tests and in vitro sperm penetration tests can also be performed to understand it.

5. Endocrine function measurement: For example, measuring serum estrogen and progesterone levels at different times of the menstrual cycle to understand the ovarian function; measuring the basal metabolic rate to understand the thyroid function; conducting adrenal function tests and serum prolactin measurements, etc.

Suggestions: It is recommended that you go to the hospital for further examination as soon as possible to confirm the diagnosis and then receive targeted treatment.

It is impossible to calculate the ovulation period if the menstruation is irregular. You can only rely on ovulation test strips, and they may not be accurate. It is recommended to go to the hospital on the tenth day after menstruation to monitor the development of follicles. If the follicles are developing well, you can take the opportunity to have sex and conceive. Suggestions: Due to different individual conditions and causes, it is recommended that you go to a regular, professional, high-tech pregnancy hospital for symptomatic treatment. It is mainly based on your actual personal situation to do a targeted examination and receive symptomatic treatment under the guidance of a doctor.
