First of all, what kind of sofa do you have, fabric or leather?

If it is leather, wet the blood stain with cold water, never hot water. After 10 minutes, use a paper towel or rag to put some shower gel on it, wipe it clean, then wipe it clean with a clean rag.

If it is made of fabric, the fabric sofa usually has two layers of fabric, one layer is the sofa cover on the top which can be removed.

If you have this kind of sofa, you can take off the sofa cover, soak it in cold water and then scrub the blood stains with shower gel. It is simple, clean and quick. Wait until the blood stains are gone and then put the entire sofa cover in the washing machine to wash.

If you have a fabric sofa with only one layer and no sofa cover, you can wet a paper towel and wipe the blood stain with shower gel. If there is red blood stain on the paper towel after wiping, throw it away and continue to wet a new paper towel with shower gel and wipe it. In the same way, wipe repeatedly until the blood stains on the paper towel become less and less. When the blood stain cannot be wiped out anymore, you can wet a paper towel and wipe the wet area with shower gel several times.

When you feel that there is not much shower gel left, wipe it clean. You can wipe the wet area several times with a dry paper towel.

When there is not much water left on the sofa, just take it to the balcony to dry.

I just used this method a few days ago. I had my period and stained the swivel chair with blood. The chair is made of cloth and has no cover, so I used this method to clean it thoroughly.

The disadvantage of this method is that it may waste some paper towels, but after you clean it up, you will feel that the wasted paper towels are a trivial matter.
