We all know that the breast milk that comes out of breastfeeding women is milky white like ordinary breast milk, and sometimes the breast milk is thicker. However, we sometimes find that the breast milk often changes from white to yellow. This shows that the quality of the breast milk is very high, and the baby can become fuller and stronger after eating. It is not a pathological manifestation.

Yellow milk indicates that the quality of the mother's milk is very high. Generally, the milk is egg white in the first one or two days after giving birth, yellow in the third and fourth days, and white after seven days as it matures. However, some mothers still have yellow milk after more than ten days, which shows that the mother has a good physique and the quality of her milk is very high, and the baby feels full after eating. Yellow milk indicates that the mother's milk

Colostrum: The milk secreted in the first few days after delivery is called colostrum. Although it is not much, it is very concentrated and its color is similar to butter. Compared with mature milk, colostrum is rich in antibodies, abundant in protein, lower in fat, and contains various enzymes and carbohydrates that babies need, which are not available in any other food. Relatively speaking, it contains less lactose, fat and water-soluble vitamins. The immune substances in colostrum can cover the surface of the baby's immature intestines and prevent the attachment of bacteria and viruses.

Transition milk: The milk secreted between 7-14 days after delivery is called transition milk. The amount of protein contained in it gradually decreases, while the content of fat and lactose gradually increases, which is the transition from colostrum to mature milk.

Mature milk: The milk secreted 14 days after delivery is called mature milk. In fact, it takes about 30 days to become stable. Mature milk looks clearer than cow's milk and can be divided into foremilk and hindmilk.

Your baby is older, normal breast milk is white.
