There is a pimple on the female vulva

The female genitals are the most private and sensitive area of the female body. It is also the area where gynecological diseases most often occur. Improper sexual life can cause symptoms such as papules. Most sexually transmitted diseases are transmitted through unclean sexual contact. If such behavior has not occurred, the possibility that the small bumps in the private parts are sexually transmitted diseases will be greatly reduced. Of course, in very rare cases, STDs can also be spread through other non-sexual contact methods. So what causes pimples on women’s vulva?

1. Hidden warm warts on the vulva

There are other possibilities for small bumps on the vulva: one is caused by human papillomavirus infection, which is called genital warts; the other is caused by common Trichomonas vaginitis, which is called pseudo-condyloma because the leucorrhea has a peculiar smell and is irritating. Pseudo-condyloma is a very common private manifestation, which manifests as velvety or villous protrusions on the inner side of the labia, which may be light pink or slightly transparent, caviar-like, and relatively uniform in size, with no active symptoms.

Female vulva pimples may be latent vulvar warts, which mainly occur in healthy, young women, and many of them are still single. A survey of 1,175 healthy female employees in Nanjing was conducted, and 231 of them had pseudocondyloma, with an incidence rate of 20%. It is not difficult to see the objectivity of this disease, but I would like to remind you that latent warts do not affect the endocrine system, nor are they sexually transmitted diseases, and generally do not require treatment.

Small pimples:

Blood pressure site: occurs on the inner side of the labia majora on both sides and the vestibular function part.

Blood appearance: looks like many small fish roe-like particles, or Dutch fleece-like, etc.

Number of supplements: Several.

Weight change: These small bumps will not grow bigger over time.

Term Disorders: None.

Then it is likely to be occult vulvar warm warts.

2. Bowenoid papulosis

It occurs in young people and middle-aged women who are sexually active.

Small pimples:

Blood pressure location: Most of them are in the perineum and vulva, and very few are in the private mucosa.

Blood appearance: flat, raised bumps that are skin-colored, light brown, or dark brown, bean-sized or larger, with a nipple-like or smooth surface.

Number of supplements: Several, but also just one or two.

Weight change: It may increase and grow, but the speed is not fast.

Term Symptoms: Asymptomatic.

Ordinary people and doctors must be aware that this disease is very similar to the sexually transmitted disease genital warts, but it is not a sexually transmitted disease and has nothing to do with sexual behavior. Of course, if the patient has a history of sexual activity, it is easy to confuse. After diagnosis, some physical therapies should be used, such as laser, cold storage, electrocautery, etc.

3. Sebaceous gland ectopic disease

It occurs in young people, and those under 30 years old account for 75% of the total number of cases.

Small pimples:

Blood pressure site: mostly occurs in the lip mucosa and cheek mucosa, also occurs in the nipples, glans penis, labia, clitoris, and the inner side of the labia majora.

Hemorrhagic appearance: light yellow or milky white, miliary-sized, flat and hemispherical papules, released or clustered.

Number of supplements: Several.

Weight change: It is not easy to get bigger over time.

Full-term symptoms: No active symptoms.

Other things: pimples are more noticeable when the skin or mucous membranes are stretched tight.

4. Vestibular gland cyst

Small bumps on the vulva may be vestibular gland cysts. The entrance and exit of the greater vestibular glands are located on the inner side of the labia, and bacteria can easily invade and cause inflammation.

Generally, the bacteria first invade the epithelial cells of the Bartholin's gland ducts, causing swelling of the mucosa, or causing cervical adhesions after the branch duct tissue is destroyed, resulting in branch duct obstruction, and secretions cannot be discharged, resulting in Bartholin's gland swelling. It is often unilateral and varies in size. It may also be an early manifestation of vulvar inflammation.

5. Vulvar inflammation

Another possibility for small bumps on the vulva is vulvitis: it is caused by a large amount of secretions irritating the skin of the vulva. In daily life, because the vulva is easily contaminated with urine, excrement, and secretions, the private skin is often in a humid environment, which is suitable for the growth of bacteria. At this time, if the private skin is scratched, or if hygiene is not taken seriously, or if the body's immunity is weakened, the hair follicles and surrounding tissues may be infected by staphylococci and other bacteria, which may cause local vulvitis.
