Generally speaking, women's breasts are not of absolutely consistent size. When it comes to breast asymmetry, if it is a slight inconsistency in size, it will not affect our current life. However, if it is due to congenital or acquired reasons that cause obvious asymmetry in breast size, we need to seek medical attention in time. So what is the reason for the asymmetry of the breasts? How to deal with this problem?

Causes of breast asymmetry:

1. Bad posture habits can cause breast asymmetry: Due to the irregular daily exercise posture, walking and sitting posture, the pectoral muscles of the breasts develop unevenly, which never induces breast asymmetry. This phenomenon is more common among young or middle-aged women.

2. It is caused by unbalanced hormone development in the body: the breast bud on the side with strong sensitivity to estrogen and progesterone in the body develops first, grows faster and appears larger; the breast bud on the less sensitive side develops slowly and grows slower and appears smaller.

3. Incorrect breastfeeding habits: When breastfeeding, some mothers are accustomed to holding their babies on one side to breastfeed, which makes the breasts on both sides have uneven breastfeeding opportunities. After weaning, the side with more opportunities is more likely to atrophy and become smaller than the opposite side. Therefore, it is best to alternate between the two sides when breastfeeding.

Solution:

01 Physical exercise: Actually, your problem is not serious. Fortunately, you like sports. It would be very helpful to do more chest expansion exercises while jumping around. Here are a few ways to do it. You may want to exercise during breaks or while waiting in line for food.

◆ Chest expansion exercise

Straighten your back muscles and lift your head and chest. Put your hands together in front of your chest. Now stretch your elbows completely, always keeping your chest exerted. At the same time, exert force on the palms of your hands, and slowly move left and right as if pushing against each other. When your hands reach the center position, inhale and repeat the left and right movements 10 to 20 times. If one side of your breast is smaller, you can do it 10 to 20 more times on the smaller side to achieve a uniform effect on both sides. When practicing, make sure the focus is on your chest rather than your arms.

◆ Chest lift exercise

Bend your elbows inward and overlap your lower arms in front of your chest to form a mouth shape; led by your upper arms, slowly raise them up to the front of your forehead, and then lower them back to the original preparatory position. Do this back and forth 10 to 20 times.

02 Equipment exercise: The effect of exercising with the help of equipment is much better than simply jumping around. Don’t give up exercising because you don’t have any equipment. A few bottles of mineral water or a few books can help.
