The fastest way to reduce labia swelling

The labia is a very important part for women. The main function of the labia is to protect the inside of the vagina and keep all dust and bacteria out. Therefore, when we clean it, we only need to clean the outer part of the vulva. If the labia is red and swollen, we need to find out the cause and use reasonable methods to reduce the swelling according to the cause.

Causes of redness and swelling of female vulva

Because the vulva is close to the urethra and anus, and is rubbed by the legs during movement, various inflammations can affect the vulva. Female vulvitis, vaginitis, vulvar leukoplakia, local friction irritation and other reasons are all important factors leading to vulvar redness and swelling.

Gynecologists say that female vulvitis refers to inflammation of the skin or mucous membrane of the vulva. It is divided into acute and chronic types. Female vulvitis can be caused by many reasons, the most common ones are simple vulvitis, fungal vulvitis, infantile vulvitis, and vulvar inflammation caused by Trichomonas infection. When inflammation occurs in the vulva, regardless of the cause, the patient will mainly experience symptoms such as vulvar itching, vulvar redness, swelling, burning pain, etc.
