What situations lead to unexpected pregnancy?

1. Internal ejaculation

First, let me tell you why internal ejaculation is the easiest way to get pregnant. The acidic environment of the vagina is not conducive to the survival of sperm, so it is very difficult for sperm to swim from the vaginal opening to the cervix on their own. Even though semen contains 90% alkaline fluid and cervical mucus becomes permeable to sperm during ovulation, most sperm still die in the vagina.

Internal ejaculation can allow the semen to reach the bottom of the vagina directly, where it accumulates at the vaginal vault. On the one hand, it gathers the semen to prevent it from dispersing and dying too quickly; on the other hand, it is very close to the cervix and can enter at any time.

3. Ejaculation outside the body

Regarding external ejaculation, it has always been one of the hot topics discussed by everyone. There are many people who have not gotten pregnant for many years after external ejaculation, but there are also many examples of people getting pregnant after external ejaculation. So what is the reason for pregnancy after external ejaculation?

During ejaculation, there are three possibilities for sperm to enter the female body:

(1) There is residual semen in the urethra, which enters the female body along with the bulbourethral fluid when the male is excited. The bulbourethral gland fluid itself does not contain sperm. This situation mainly occurs when a second intercourse is performed without a condom shortly after the last ejaculation, causing the residual sperm from the last ejaculation to enter the female body. Generally speaking, if the time interval between two occurrences is long, or if the man has urinated, this possibility can be ruled out.

(2) In order to delay ejaculation, men stop having sexual intercourse as soon as they feel the urge to ejaculate. (3) Men have a slow reaction before ejaculation and withdraw their penis too late in order to pursue pleasure. This is also a very common case of failure of external ejaculation contraception.

If you can control your ejaculation, the chances of getting pregnant are low. If you ejaculate completely outside the body, you will basically not get pregnant. Pregnancy occurs because semen flows out while the semen is still inside the body, which is equivalent to a small amount of ejaculation. 4. Half-time condom

The reasons for failure of half-time condoms are basically the same as those for external ejaculation, except that the last line, the one before ejaculation, is missing. The success rate of half-condom contraception is slightly higher than that of external ejaculation, but it is also not recommended. After all, everyone makes mistakes sometimes. 5. Emergency contraceptive pills

There seem to be many cases in the group where people still got pregnant after taking the medicine, but I don't think this situation should be compared to condoms. There are three principles of emergency contraception. If you haven't ovulated yet, delay ovulation. If ovulation has occurred, a film is formed to block the sperm from moving forward.
