Can pregnancy be detected 9 days after ovulation?

There are many ways to test for pregnancy. You can use test strips bought from a pharmacy, or you can go to the hospital for testing. Generally speaking, hospital examinations are accurate, but test strips are also very accurate. Many people will ask, can pregnancy be detected 9 days after ovulation? The possibility of pregnancy during the ovulation period is still very high. So can it be detected? Let's take a look at it below.

Can pregnancy be detected 9 days after ovulation?

14 days after ovulation and intercourse, you can use a pregnancy test strip to find out whether you are pregnant. You cannot use a pregnancy test strip on the 7th or 8th day. You need to go to the hospital to check the HCG hormone level through blood tests to find out whether you are pregnant. Generally speaking, women can usually find out whether they are pregnant about a week to 10 days after they actually become pregnant. Once the male sperm and the female egg combine to form a fertilized egg, about 7-10 days after the fertilized egg implants in the endometrium, the pregnant woman's placenta will secrete a hormone called human chorionic gonadotropin.

The detection methods are:

Early pregnancy test: Collect urine (first morning urine is preferred), insert the test strip, and observe the result within 5 minutes. Convenient, fast and accurate.

Basal body temperature measurement: Some women measure their body temperature every morning after waking up for contraception or to get pregnant due to infertility. The temperature at this time is called basal body temperature. Generally, the body temperature before ovulation is below 36.5 degrees. After ovulation, the body temperature rises by 0.3-0.5 degrees and lasts for 12-16 days, with an average of 14 days. If the high temperature curve of basal body temperature lasts for more than 18 days, pregnancy can be diagnosed.

Type B ultrasound examination: As early as the 5th week of pregnancy, which is one week after the menstrual period, a round halo in the uterus, also known as the pregnancy ring, can be shown on the Type B ultrasound screen. The dark area inside the ring is amniotic fluid, in which a rhythmic fetal heartbeat can also be seen. Using B-ultrasound to diagnose early pregnancy is the most accurate and reliable method.

Symptoms of pregnancy

1) Menstrual cessation: If your menstruation has always been regular, but it misses its due date for more than 10 days, you should consider the possibility of pregnancy. This is the earliest sign of pregnancy. The longer the menstruation is missed, the greater the possibility of pregnancy. If your menstruation stops for more than 2 weeks, you need to go to the hospital to check the cause.

2) Early pregnancy reactions: If a woman is pregnant after about 40 days of amenorrhea, she may experience nausea, vomiting, dizziness, fatigue, loss of appetite, preference for sour food, and aversion to greasy food.

3) Frequent urination: As the uterus gradually enlarges during pregnancy, it puts pressure on the bladder, causing more frequent urination. However, there are no symptoms of urinary urgency and pain when urinating that occur with urinary tract infection.

4) Breast changes: Breast development, nipple enlargement, darkening of nipple and areola, small nodules around the nipple, and even tingling and soreness in the breast, and occasionally a small amount of milk may be squeezed out.
