The fetus was born with pericardial effusion

The fetus was born with pericardial effusion

Pelvic effusion after childbirth is actually the presence of inflammatory exudate in the pelvis. The causing factors are bacterial infection, etc., which can occur in pelvic inflammatory disease, adnexitis or endometriosis. The main reason for the occurrence of pelvic effusion in parturients is that the body has not recovered safely after giving birth, and they do not pay attention to medical care, thus getting infected.

Causes of pelvic effusion after childbirth:

1. Not paying attention to hygiene during menstrual period

At the beginning of menstruation, the uterine wall will fall off, the blood sinuses inside the uterine cavity will be open, and small blood clots will exist, which is very suitable for the growth of bacteria. If you do not pay attention to hygiene during your menarche and use unclean sanitary napkins, handkerchiefs, etc. Or having sex during menstruation provides a good opportunity for the growth and infection of bacteria, causing pelvic inflammatory disease in women.

2. Inflammation and spread of adjacent human organs

Women are more likely to develop pelvic inflammatory disease when they suffer from appendicitis or retroperitoneal inflammation. When you suffer from vaginitis or cervicitis, the inflammation will lead to infection and eventually cause pelvic inflammatory disease.

3. Infection after childbirth or abortion

After childbirth and abortion, the body is weak and the resistance is not high. At this time, the cervix is in a state of expansion. If you do not pay attention to hygiene, the bacteria in the vagina and cervix may ascend and cause female pelvic infection.

4. Infection after minimally invasive gynecological surgery

Abortion surgery, IUD insertion (removal) surgery, angiography (fluid perfusion), etc. If the disinfection and sterilization during the operation are not strict, it is very easy to have a high incidence of infection after the operation. If you do not pay attention to hygiene after the operation, do not carry out recovery treatment according to the doctor's instructions, or have sex too soon after treatment, it will cause bacteria to grow and cause pelvic infection in women.

Treatment of pelvic effusion after childbirth

1. General treatment

Eliminate patients' mental concerns, increase their confidence in treatment, improve nutrition, exercise, pay attention to reasonable time management, and enhance the body's resistance.

2. Physical therapy

The good stimulation of moist heat can promote blood circulation in the pelvic area. Improve the nutritional status of tissues, enhance metabolism, and facilitate the absorption and dissipation of inflammation.

3. Medication

Choose analgesics or hormone medication for treatment.

4. Surgery

Lumps such as hydrosalpinx or bilateral tubo-ovarian cysts can be treated surgically; those with small foci of infection that repeatedly cause inflammation should also undergo laparoscopic exploration. The standard of surgical treatment is complete recovery to prevent residual diseases. For young women, the ovaries should be preserved as much as possible. The actual effect of single treatment for chronic pelvic inflammatory disease is weak, so comprehensive treatment is appropriate.

New mothers should check according to their own physical symptoms. If symptoms of pelvic effusion occur, they should seek medical attention in time to prevent the situation from getting worse.
