These gynecological diseases often plague "leftover women"!

Lack of normal and regular sex life makes women more likely to suffer from gynecological diseases. The chances of diseases such as breast cancer and ovarian cancer occurring in "leftover women" are also higher. It is recommended that women give birth at an appropriate age and breastfeeding is encouraged.

It’s the end of the year now, and the “leftover women” are being forced to get married again, right? Going on a blind date again? In fact, marriage is beneficial to women's mental and physical health. According to doctors, modern older unmarried women are even more likely to suffer from gynecological diseases than married women with children. The reason is that some older unmarried women lack a normal sex life. Long-term sexual repression leads to disuse atrophy of the vagina, reduced or dry secretions, and decreased disease resistance, which in turn causes a series of gynecological inflammations such as vaginal infectious diseases, cervicitis and pelvic inflammatory disease.

Which gynecological diseases are more common in "leftover women"

Ovarian cancer

Every ovulation and repair process of a woman will cause damage to the ovarian epithelium, which may cause ovarian epithelial gene mutations and lead to cancer, forming ovarian epithelial cancer. During pregnancy and childbirth, women's ovaries stop ovulating, and the ovaries can get temporary rest and care, which reduces damage and the chance of cancer. Therefore, the incidence of ovarian tumors in women who have not given birth is higher than that in women with a history of childbearing.

In addition, different types of ovarian cancer have different age distributions. The incidence of ovarian epithelial cancer increases rapidly after the age of 40, peaks at 50-60 years old, and gradually decreases after the age of 70; sex cord stromal tumors are similar to ovarian epithelial cancer, increasing with age; and germ cell tumors are more common in young women before the age of 20, and the incidence of ovarian cancer is high in single or childless women.

According to statistics, the incidence of ovarian cancer in singles is 60%-70% higher than that in married people.

Breast cancer

Compared with women of childbearing age, single men are more likely to develop breast cancer. Because breastfeeding can help women's breasts develop fully, help to clear the mammary ducts, and reduce the risk of breast cancer. "Leftover women" have not experienced this process, so they are more likely to get breast cancer than women who have breastfed.

Studies have shown that unmarried women, those who have their first menstruation at an early age, those who have late menopause, those who have short menstrual cycles, those who have few children, or those who are not breastfeeding are at greater risk of developing breast cancer.

Vaginal disuse atrophy

Many women are often teased: "You can't live without a man!" In fact, this is true. Lack of sexual life can easily lead to "vaginal disuse atrophy" in women. "Leftover women" lack normal and regular sex life, which easily leads to endocrine disorders. After menopause, they will also suffer from disuse atrophy of the vagina, reduced secretions, decreased disease resistance, and ultimately inflammation of the urogenital system.

Develop a good habit of regular gynecological examinations

Experts say that women over the age of 18 have basically matured in all aspects of development, so they may still be threatened by gynecological diseases. However, some gynecological diseases do not have obvious symptoms. For the sake of health, it is recommended that older unmarried women develop the habit of having regular gynecological examinations. The examination cycle is once every one to two years. If conditions permit, it is best to have a professional breast examination once a year.

In addition, do not overdraw your health, and arrange your work and rest time reasonably and lead a regular life. At the same time, ending single life as soon as possible and having normal and regular sex life can allow hormone levels to rise and fall normally, which can help relieve dysmenorrhea and reduce the occurrence of gynecological diseases.

Finally, pay special attention to self-care, actively cope with stress, slow down the pace of life, or change your lifestyle to relieve stress, relax your body and mind, and prevent physical and mental illnesses through relaxing outdoor activities or special skills that you are interested in. Second, be rational and control your emotions. Learn to adjust the balance between emotion and reason, maintain a good mental state, be content with what you have, and maintain mental health.

Older women who have never had children have a higher risk of breast cancer

There are about 170,000 new cases of breast cancer in my country every year. Breast cancer has ranked first in the incidence of malignant tumors among women in cities such as Shanghai, Beijing, Tianjin and Guangzhou. Professor Shao Zhimin, chairman of the Breast Cancer Professional Committee of the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association and director of the Breast Cancer Research Institute of Fudan University, pointed out that the characteristics of breast cancer in my country are becoming more and more similar to those in developed countries, but the age of onset is younger than that in developed countries. Older single women and DINKs are more susceptible to the disease, and the incidence rate in central cities is significantly higher than that in underdeveloped areas. He said this is closely related to the living habits of the urban population.

Only 5% of breast cancer is inherited. Stress, personality, bad living habits, etc. are all predisposing factors.

The official website of the American Cancer Society has an interesting piece of information: "Approximately 5% to 10% of breast cancer can be attributed to hereditary constitution." Family history of breast cancer is indeed a key factor that doctors consider during diagnosis, but this data tells us that family heredity is not an absolute factor in breast cancer. The cause of the disease for the vast majority of breast cancer patients comes from themselves. Under the premise that breast cancer is becoming younger, older unmarried and childless "leftover women" are a high-risk group for breast cancer.

Regarding the causes of breast cancer, domestic experts have a unanimous view that urban women's high-protein, high-nutrition, high-fat, and high-hormone eating habits are a major factor in the increased incidence of breast cancer.

Many experts have pointed out that the incidence of breast cancer in obese people is much higher than that in thin people, especially women who like to eat meat. Experts believe that fat is the soil for the production of estrogen. Excessive fat interferes with the level of estrogen in the body. The disorder of estrogen levels is closely related to women's risk of gynecological tumors such as breast cancer and cervical cancer.

In addition, there are factors of high estrogen, such as excessive use of high-protein, high-hormone content health products, which may also cause breast diseases. The breast enhancement products used by some women contain estrogen which will inevitably cause endocrine disorders and have the risk of promoting breast cancer. For example, many beauty-conscious women like to take snow frog to achieve the purpose of youthful skin and plump breasts, but excessive intake of this estrogen-rich supplement can cause metabolic disorders.
