They need to pay attention to menstrual care with the help of their mothers. Avoid washing your hair with cold water during menstruation, and eat less raw and cold foods such as watermelon and ice cream, so as to prevent uterine contraction caused by cold and lead to dysmenorrhea. Also pay attention to rest and avoid strenuous exercise.

20~30 years old: Women should prevent migraine

According to statistics, there are 10 to 25.99 million people suffering from migraine in my country, with an incidence rate of 9.3%, and the most common age group is 25 to 35 years old. Data from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services also show that about 75% of migraine sufferers are women, most of whom are between 20 and 45 years old. About half of them occur before or after menstruation, which may be related to fluctuations in hormone levels during menstruation, pregnancy, and menopause. Wang Yuping, chief physician of the Department of Neurology at Xuanwu Hospital of Capital Medical University, suggested that women should try to avoid negative emotions such as tension and irritability, and prevent excessive fatigue; they should eat a light diet and supplement vitamins and minerals on time.

30~40 years old: Women should protect their uterus

According to statistics, the incidence of endometriosis in women of childbearing age in my country is 10%~15%, with a peak incidence among those aged 25 to 45. Wang Sumei explained that endometriosis is a condition in which the endometrium is "placed in the wrong home" and is often accompanied by various symptoms of menstrual disorders, such as prolonged menstruation and excessive menstrual bleeding. It is recommended that women perform yoga training three times a week or one moderate-intensity whole-body activity; do not have sexual intercourse during menstruation to reduce the probability of retrograde menstruation; and avoid heavy physical labor. In addition, working women need to be reminded that the golden period of childbearing is between 21 and 29 years old, and missing this period may increase the risk of endometriosis.

40~50 years old: Women should prevent menopause

Wang Sumei introduced that the ovarian function of middle-aged women declines, the secretion of estrogen and progesterone decreases, and they face turning points such as amenorrhea and menopause. Coupled with the problems of marriage, emotions, family relationships, etc., and the great mental pressure, they are prone to reactions such as emotional excitement, irritability, and insomnia. Ma Jianwen, chairman of the Psychological Counseling Professional Committee of the Guangdong Social Medicine Research Association, suggested that middle-aged women should "sleep their mind first, then their eyes", keep calm after 9 pm, and avoid watching TV dramas with tense or tragic plots. Go to bed on time at 11 o'clock to ensure the "golden 7 hours" of sleep. Keep an open-minded and positive mental state in any situation.

50-60 years old: Women should be careful about heart disease

A survey in the United States shows that women's risk of heart disease increases significantly after the age of 50, which is related to the decrease in estrogen after menopause. 80% of women in my country reach menopause between the ages of 44 and 54. Wang Sumei recommends that middle-aged and elderly women should protect their heart health, have regular electrocardiograms, stay up late less, relieve stress through yoga, listening to music, chatting, etc., and reduce the intake of oil and salt in their diet.

60~70 years old: Women should prevent fractures

The incidence of osteoporosis in people over 60 years old is 56%, and the incidence in women is as high as 60%~70%. As people age, they become stiffer and less flexible, making them more susceptible to falls and even fractures. Wang Sumei reminds us to eat more foods high in calcium, such as milk, dried shrimps, etc., and get more sun exposure. Bone density should also be checked regularly, and estrogen replacement therapy should be carried out under the guidance of a doctor.

70-80 years old: Women should prevent cognitive impairment

A large-scale epidemiological survey found that 11.5% of people in my country are over 75 years old with cognitive impairment. Postmenopausal women are three times more likely to suffer from this disease than men, which is related to the decrease in estrogen levels. In addition, the loneliness and helplessness felt by the elderly when faced with problems such as retirement and widowhood can also affect their cognitive functions. Gao Fangkun, former director of the Beijing Institute of Geriatrics, suggested that the elderly should move when they can, learn when they can, and see when they can. Participate more in community activities and family affairs, and study and do physical training regularly.
