What are the symptoms of anemia in women?

If a female friend has anemia, her lips and face may turn pale, her face may look very haggard, and her body may always feel weak. In more serious cases, she may also be prone to dizziness and headaches, or vomiting and nausea. In real life, anemia is not uncommon among female friends. Once anemia occurs, you should pay attention to eating more foods that can replenish blood, such as dates or brown sugar water.

Female patients often have irregular menstruation, with amenorrhea being the most common. Anemia is often caused by menorrhagia, but occasionally anemia can also cause menorrhagia. Patients with severe anemia often have decreased libido. Lack of energy, fatigue and drowsiness, difficulty concentrating, slow reaction, numbness, chills or tingling in the hands and feet; palpitations and shortness of breath after physical activity, which are the most common symptoms of anemia; frequent dizziness, headaches, tinnitus, blurred vision, black spots or "golden stars" in front of the eyes; often irregular menstruation, with heavy flow each time.

Long-term angular cheilitis; loss of appetite, frequent bloating and constipation; dull, thin and brittle hair, easy to fall out; raised nail lines and ingrown nails; when you pull down your lower eyelid, you will find that the conjunctiva is pale. Since anemia is not a disease but a common symptom of certain diseases, the principle of treatment is to eliminate the cause first. If the anemia is severe, measures such as blood transfusion may be needed to directly correct the anemia or temporarily alleviate the anemia. However, before the cause of the disease is diagnosed, avoid taking any medication, such as vitamin B12, folic acid, liver injections, iron supplements or other so-called "blood tonics". Not only will such treatment be ineffective, but it will also delay the disease due to relaxing or giving up the search for the cause of the disease, which will be harmful to the patient and even cause serious consequences.

Anemia is very harmful to women's health. I believe that through the above introduction, everyone has already known the various effects that anemia can bring to the body. After a woman suffers from anemia, she should eat more nutritious foods that can replenish iron and blood, such as black chicken soup, some pork ribs soup, and eat more fruits in her life. Yam can replenish iron and blood, and women with anemia can eat more of it.
