Eating too much chili pepper can cause constipation: Constipation is easy to occur during pregnancy. If you eat too much chili pepper, especially dried chili pepper, it will make the condition worse. When constipated, holding your breath will increase abdominal pressure, which will cause local squeezing of the uterus, fetus, and blood vessels, resulting in insufficient blood supply, which can easily cause high blood pressure, miscarriage, premature birth, or fetal malformations.

Adverse effects on the fetus: Spicy substances will enter the fetus through the mother's blood circulation, which may irritate the baby and cause adverse effects on the fetus.

Eating too much spicy food can also cause poisoning: chili peppers are hot and toxic. Excessive consumption can cause moisture in the body to turn into heat, which can manifest as skin acne, increased blood pressure, worsening hemorrhoids, nosebleeds, etc. Long-term and excessive consumption of chili peppers can cause symptoms of poisoning, such as burning sensation in the stomach, abdominal distension, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, and even vomiting blood, hematuria, nosebleeds, and increased or decreased blood pressure.

Hot pot fish contains a large amount of highly irritating condiments such as five-spice powder, star anise, chili pepper, etc. If you eat too much, it can easily cause constipation in pregnant women, and then they will hold their breath during defecation, which can easily lead to increased abdominal pressure, causing compression of the fetus and insufficient blood supply to the fetus, thereby increasing the risk of premature birth and miscarriage.
