The dangers of uterine prolapse

The dangers of uterine prolapse

Nowadays, more and more female friends are suffering from uterine shedding. Uterine shedding is what we usually call uterine prolapse. This symptom also has a great impact on women's health. If a woman has frequent sex life or other bad personal habits, she is likely to have such symptoms. So what kind of harm may be caused after uterine shedding occurs? Let's take a look at the detailed introduction below.

1. Impact on pregnancy

Uterine prolapse will have a certain impact on women's reproductive function. If it is mild or moderate, then pregnancy is still possible, but it may have a certain impact on the delivery of pregnant women after delivery. Patients with severe uterine prolapse often suffer from infertility, which is mainly caused by the difficulty of semen entering the vagina of women.

2. Causes menorrhagia

The uterus will tilt backwards, causing the fallopian tubes on both sides of the uterus and ovaries to relax backwards and downwards. Genetic mutations in the location of the uterus, ovaries, and fallopian tubes can also cause obstruction of pelvic blood flow, resulting in pelvic venous bleeding, heavy menstrual flow, and possibly abdominal pain, back pain, and some women may also experience symptoms such as pain during sexual intercourse.

3. Cause menstrual pain

Because the menstrual blood in the uterine cavity is difficult to discharge from the cervical canal. In order to expel the menstrual blood in the "pot", the only way is to increase uterine contractions and reduce the volume of the uterine cavity as much as possible to force out the semen. Women with a retroverted uterus always experience menstrual pain due to contraction of the uterine muscles.

4. Cause endometriosis

Uterine shedding may also cause endometriosis. During menstruation, uterine contractions often need to be increased to drive menstruation out of the body through the cervix. When the uterus contracts, the pressure in the uterine cavity will inevitably increase. Under the effect of high pressure, some menstrual blood may flow back into the pelvis through the fallopian tubes, causing endometriosis.

Uterine shedding in women will first affect their reproductive function, and also cause menstrual disorders, such as heavy menstrual flow or severe menstrual pain. When it develops to a certain stage, it may also cause endometriosis. If endometriosis is not controlled in time, it will cause a large number of gynecological diseases.
