A woman's body temperature during ovulation generally changes with the ovulation period. In the first half of a woman's menstrual cycle, the body temperature fluctuates below 36.6 degrees. After ovulation, it enters the second half of the menstrual cycle. Under normal circumstances, the body temperature is higher than the first half, and the normal fluctuation is between 36.6 degrees and 37 degrees. If the body temperature rises, it indicates ovulation. After about two weeks of high temperature, the woman's body temperature will drop again, and then the menstrual period will come. If a woman is pregnant, her ovulation temperature will no longer drop. Generally, women's body temperature during ovulation will vary according to their physical fitness. It is recommended to check their body temperature regularly. If any abnormalities are found, seek medical attention immediately. When the body is in a state of complete rest, free from the influence of spirit or any various factors, the body temperature measured is called ovulation temperature. The body temperature is measured when you wake up at 6-7 am and not when you wake up and move around. The body temperature during ovulation can more accurately reflect the role of the uterus and ovaries during ovulation and the corresponding endocrine changes. Therefore, it is a simple and reasonable self-detection method to measure ovulation period. So what changes occur in body temperature during ovulation in the menstrual cycle? The follicular phase is before ovulation, and the uterus and ovaries metabolize female hormones. During the ovulation period, the body temperature is mostly passive and below 36.6℃. After ovulation, progesterone is produced in the uterus and ovaries, and progesterone metabolizes estrogen. Estrogen has a thermoregulatory effect on the central nervous system, raising the basal body temperature by 0.3-0.5℃. The rise in body temperature continues until 1-2 days before the onset of menstruation, when it begins to drop. In this way, the change of ovulation body temperature in a physiological cycle with ovulation shows a two-phase curve. The non-ovulation period may occur 2-3 days before and after the body temperature drops, that is, any time when the body temperature begins to drop, drops to the lowest value or begins to warm up. It is inferred that the time when the human body temperature is the lowest may be the time closest to the ovulation period. On the fourth day when the high temperature appears, the ovulation has undoubtedly occurred and the egg cell has died. From this time on until the next premenstrual sexual intercourse is safe. In some ovulation period, the body temperature rises in steps and takes several days to reach the endpoint, which makes it difficult to calculate the exact time of ovulation. If the daily life is irregular, and there are women who often work late shifts, it is not reliable to use ovulation temperature to measure ovulation. Since ovulation temperature requires regular and specific testing under normal living habits, it itself is only an indirect method to estimate ovulation. If the body temperature is not measured accurately, it is even more impossible to calculate the ovulation period by the body temperature. |
