What are the clinical manifestations of breast fibroids?

Now many people are calling for caring about women's health, especially women's breast health. More and more female friends are suffering from breast diseases. The most serious one is breast cancer, while others are milder, such as breast hyperplasia, breast fibroids and other diseases. If you want to detect and treat these diseases early, you must understand the symptoms of the disease. The following editor will introduce the clinical manifestations of breast fibroids:

Breast fibroids are common in the outer quadrant of the breast, with about 75% being single and a few being multiple (simultaneous or different). Apart from the appearance of a lump, patients usually have no obvious subjective symptoms. The lump grows slowly; when touched, it is firm, has clear boundaries, a smooth surface, and is very easy to move. The menstrual cycle has no effect on the size of the lump.

The main clinical manifestation of breast fibroids is breast lumps, and in most cases, breast lumps are the only symptom of the disease. The lumps of breast fibroadenomas are mostly discovered by patients accidentally. They are usually not accompanied by pain and do not change with the menstrual cycle. In a small number of cases, breast fibroadenoma and breast hyperplasia coexist, and premenstrual breast pain may occur in this case.

Breast fibroid lumps often occur in the upper outer quadrant of the breast. Adenomas are usually solitary but may occur multiple times. Adenomas are round or oval in shape, with diameters ranging from 1 to 3 cm being more common, but there are also smaller or larger ones, and occasionally huge ones. The surface is smooth, the texture is tough, the boundaries are clear, there is no adhesion to the skin and surrounding tissues, it has a large range of motion, and it feels sliding when touched. There was no axillary lymph node enlargement. Adenomas are usually painless and non-tender. Its size and characteristics generally do not change with the menstrual cycle. The lump usually grows slowly and may not change for several years, but it may increase rapidly during pregnancy and lactation, and in some cases may develop into a sarcoma at this time.

Some breast diseases develop very slowly, and in the early stages, the symptoms may not be obvious, which makes some people not pay much attention to them. When you experience any discomfort in your breasts, do not take it lightly; you must pay attention to early detection and early treatment so that you can recover soon and avoid worsening of the condition.
