Many female friends do not take any contraceptive measures in their daily lives, but they still cannot get pregnant for a long time. When they go for a check-up, they find that their fallopian tubes are blocked. In fact, there are some symptoms of fallopian tube blockage in women, which can usually be discovered as long as they are observed in detail. Below, the editor will introduce some common manifestations of fallopian tube obstruction in women. Fallopian tube obstruction is a common cause of infertility, accounting for 1/3 of infertile patients. It has been gradually increasing in recent years and is a difficult problem in the treatment of infertility. Fallopian tube obstruction is mainly caused by inflammation spreading upward through the endometrium, first causing inflammatory changes in the fallopian tube mucosa, degeneration or shedding of the fallopian tube epithelium, leading to adhesion of the fallopian tube mucosa, and then closure of the fallopian tube lumen or fimbria. 1. Abnormal menstruation When the inflammation of the fallopian tubes spreads to the ovaries, it will cause varying degrees of damage to the ovarian function, thus causing menstrual abnormalities. Among them, frequent menstruation and excessive menstrual flow are the most common. 2. Dysmenorrhea Long-term chronic inflammation of the fallopian tubes can lead to pelvic congestion, which in turn causes dysmenorrhea due to blood stasis. Dysmenorrhea is often accompanied by abdominal pain that starts one week before menstruation, and becomes more severe as the menstrual period approaches, until the onset of menstruation. 3. Abdominal pain Some patients with hydrosalpinx experience chronic abdominal pain. Lower abdominal pain is only felt when the fallopian tubes are inflamed. Some patients with blocked fallopian tubes experience pain on one or both sides of the lower abdomen. 4. Infertility The fallopian tube plays an important role in transporting sperm, absorbing eggs and transporting fertilized eggs to the uterine cavity. When the fallopian tube is damaged by lesions, it becomes blocked, hindering the passage of sperm and fertilized eggs, leading to infertility. 5. Other aspects Severe fallopian tube blockage, in addition to symptoms such as infertility and dysmenorrhea, may also cause increased vaginal discharge, painful sexual intercourse, gastrointestinal disorders, fatigue, affected or intolerant work, mental and neurological symptoms and depression. Fallopian tube obstruction is a common disease that causes female infertility. Once discovered, effective treatment should be carried out as soon as possible. For mild fallopian tube blockage, the fallopian tube can usually be cleared through hysterosalpingography during the examination. For more serious cases, it is best to adopt some targeted treatments. |
