What is the cause of leucorrhea with blood?

It can be said that leucorrhea makes women love and hate it. They love it because it can lubricate the vagina and act as a barrier to the vagina, blocking the invasion of foreign bacteria. I hate it because there are often various problems with leucorrhea, either too much leucorrhea, yellow leucorrhea, or leucorrhea with odor. Now, there is blood in the leucorrhea again. What is the reason for this? Please see the editor’s introduction below.

There are two types of bloody vaginal discharge: physiological and pathological. Generally speaking, women sometimes experience ovulation bleeding during the ovulation period. If the symptoms are mild, no treatment is required. If it is not during the ovulation period, it should be taken seriously. Or if you experience severe ovulation bleeding, you also need to go to the hospital to find out the cause. Bloody leucorrhea should also consider the possibility of the following diseases:

1. Endometriosis. Some endometriosis grows on the cervix and appears as blue-purple nodules. The amount of bleeding is generally small and dark red, and abdominal pain often occurs after intercourse.

2. Cervical cancer. Bleeding after sexual intercourse or bloody vaginal discharge are its earliest symptoms. Because there are more small blood vessels and the tissues are more fragile in the cancer lesions, the capillaries will rupture and bleed due to damage after each sexual intercourse.

3. Side effects caused by intrauterine contraceptive device.

4. If bloody vaginal discharge occurs in the middle of the menstrual cycle, it may be related to ovulation bleeding. If there are no discomfort symptoms, no treatment is necessary.

5. Cervicitis (erosion). Many married women suffer from cervicitis, especially those with moderate or severe cervical erosion. During sexual intercourse, the glans of the man's penis rubs against the cervix, which can cause injury and bleeding.

6. Cervical polyps. The cervix is stimulated by chronic inflammation for a long time, and single or multiple pedunculated polyps may grow at the cervical opening. The polyps are fragile and tender and will bleed if touched.

Normal leucorrhea is colorless and generally has no odor. If you find that your leucorrhea is abnormal, it is a warning to its owner that some part of the body may have become diseased. You should see a doctor in time to prevent the condition from getting worse. Early detection and early treatment can lead to recovery one day earlier.
