What happens during normal follicle development?

Usually when women are preparing for pregnancy, they will calculate their ovulation period before having sex, which will increase their chances of successful conception. However, the key to successful conception is not only to have unobstructed fallopian tubes, but also to have high-quality follicles. Only when the follicles are fully developed and function well, the eggs released will be mature and healthy, and the chance of conception will be greater. Next, I will talk about the normal development of follicles.

It is considered normal when the diameter of the follicle reaches 18-25mm. The size of the follicle when ovulation occurs depends on the individual. Some ovulate when the follicle grows to 15mm, while others need it to grow to 25mm. Follicular development is a continuous process, and the normal follicle diameter should be between 18-25mm.

The growth from primary follicle to mature follicle can be divided into 8 levels. It takes a total of 10 days from the 6th level follicle to the 8th level follicle, which is exactly the follicular phase in a menstrual cycle. Starting from 16mm, after another 2-3 days, it will develop into a 20mm follicle and then be discharged.

If the size of the follicles discharged is not within the normal range, it will affect the female fertility. The size of the follicles discharged is related to many factors. Some external factors will also affect the size of the follicles discharged. If the follicles discharged are too small, it will directly affect the female's ability to conceive:

1. Severe illness will directly lead to infertility: the quality of the follicles ovulated by small follicles is poor, which will affect normal conception and fertility.

2. Even if you get pregnant, the probability of stillbirth or miscarriage will be very high: only when the follicles are fully developed and function well, the discharged follicles will be mature and healthy, and only then can you have good birth and upbringing. The ovulated follicles are immature and therefore cannot result in normal conception. Even if the sperm and egg combine, miscarriage, stillbirth, etc. are likely to occur.

Many female friends will experience premature ovarian failure when they reach a certain age, which will lead to poor development of follicles. Therefore, female friends who want to have a baby must not miss the best time for childbirth. In addition to adjusting your daily diet, you should also seek professional treatment. Only when the follicles develop normally can a healthy baby be conceived.
