What to do if your vulva is uncomfortable

What to do if your vulva is uncomfortable

I believe that many female friends will encounter discomfort in the vulva in their daily lives. Generally, it is just some minor discomfort. If the condition is serious, some may even experience itching, odor, or even vulvar ulcers. What should we do about these troublesome vaginal diseases? Don’t worry, here are some suggestions for you on what to do if you have discomfort in your vulva.

1. Underwear and underwear should be kept clean. Underwear should be soft, loose and wide, preferably made of cotton. Avoid wearing synthetic underwear.

2. Pay attention to your daily diet, which should be light, vitamin-rich, and mainly consist of fresh vegetables and soy products; avoid irritating foods such as tobacco, alcohol, chili peppers, strong tea, coffee, etc.; drink plenty of water, eat more fruits, and keep bowel movements open.

3. Those with a good home environment can adjust the indoor temperature to 16℃~20℃ and the relative humidity to 30%~40%. When the relative humidity is lower than 20%, the indoor air is too dry and allergenic substances such as dust are easily blown away. Therefore, water should be sprinkled on the ground, and a humidifier can be activated if conditions permit.

4. People with skin allergies should not only reduce their activities appropriately, but also be careful not to bathe too frequently and the water temperature should not be too high, otherwise the sebum on the skin surface will be washed away, making the skin drier and more prone to itching. After bathing, you can apply some 30% to 50% glycerin on the body surface.

5. Don't scratch when itching occurs to prevent the epidermal cells from undergoing proliferative changes and becoming rough and thickened. The result is that the more you scratch, the itchier it becomes, eventually forming a vicious cycle.

By reading the above suggestions on how to solve the problem of vulvar discomfort, I believe that friends have already understood some basic knowledge. In fact, a good schedule and healthy eating and living habits are very important. The most important aspect is personal hygiene. I hope everyone can perform regular sterilization and disinfection to reduce the bacterial growth in the genitals and reduce the occurrence of genital diseases from the root.
