Cracked heels of women are a sign of aging

Women pursue beauty, so they usually take more careful care of their skin. However, no matter how timely the care is, some skin problems may sometimes occur. For example, heel skin is more prone to problems for women. Many women have cracked heels in daily life. So, are cracked heels in women a sign of decline?

Cracked heels in women do not indicate decline. Cracked heels may be caused by bacterial infection or chronic eczema. It is recommended to undergo a fungal microscopic examination. If it is a bacterial infection, you can apply antifungal drugs externally, such as bifonazole cream, liranabate ointment, etc. After taking the medicine, seal it in a fresh-keeping bag for 5-10 minutes to promote the absorption of the medicine. In severe cases, you can also take antifungal drugs orally. For example, itraconazole is very effective when taken orally. If it is eczema, you need to avoid contact of alkaline detergents with your feet and avoid excessive cleaning. You can apply 10%-20% allantoin cream topically, and apply a mild, non-irritating moisturizing cream topically in the morning, noon and evening.

Most of the cracked heels in women are caused by long-term use of high heels and sandals. These shoes do not provide adequate protection for the feet and can also cause cracked and peeling heels due to excessive friction on the heels. This kind of situation can also be dealt with, and the cracking situation can be improved through the following small methods.

1. When the heels are cracked, you can soak your feet in boiling water to soften the skin at the cracked position, and then use a sterilized knife to scrape off the dead skin and dry skin on the heels. Finally, apply glycerin and wrap the heels with oil gauze. Change it once a day. If you persist for a few days, the cracking and peeling condition can be improved.

2. Soak your feet in vinegar and water. Add an appropriate amount of vinegar to boiled water. The ratio of vinegar to water is 6 to 100. Soak your feet for 15 minutes, twice a day for ten consecutive days, and you will see significant results.

3. Medication treatment. Heel cracking is related to vitamin deficiency. Therefore, you can take vitamin E and vitamin D for treatment. In addition, you should eat more fruits and vegetables, and apply healing cream externally to recover quickly.

Of course, cracked heels in women do not rule out the possibility of some diseases. For example, bacterial infection of the feet and athlete's foot can also cause cracked heels. Excessive dryness of the skin and lack of moisture in the feet can also cause this kind of situation. We should pay attention to finding the reasons from all aspects and then solve them accordingly.
