Why does the right side of my lower abdomen hurt when I push hard?

Sometimes I suddenly feel pain on the right side of my lower abdomen when I exert force. If the pain is not severe, people will not pay much attention to it. But you must pay attention at this time, because it may be caused by gynecological inflammation. If not treated in time, it will threaten women's health. So what gynecological diseases may be the cause of pain on the right side of the lower abdomen?

Generally speaking, whether it is acute adnexitis or chronic adnexitis, patients will experience lower abdominal pain, but the pain caused by acute adnexitis is more obvious, and is mostly accompanied by symptoms such as sudden fever and chills. The abdominal pain in patients with chronic adnexitis is not so sudden and severe. It is sometimes severe and sometimes mild. Sometimes it is only a pain in one side of the abdomen or a dull pain. Some patients will have symptoms such as increased vaginal discharge, low back pain, and irregular menstruation.

In addition, because organs such as the pelvis or fallopian tubes are adjacent to the appendix, once any one of these organs becomes inflamed, it is likely to affect other organs and cause secondary inflammation. The occurrence of appendicitis will aggravate the patient's lower abdominal pain symptoms. The pain is usually limited to the lower abdomen, and patients rarely have vomiting symptoms. It is sometimes accompanied by urinary pain, constipation, abdominal distension, mucus in the stool, etc. This is mainly the result of inflammatory stimulation of the colon wall.

It should be noted that some women will feel pain in the lower abdomen on both sides after exercise, which will improve after a short rest. This is not a sign of adnexitis. The lower abdominal pain after exercise may be related to factors such as improper breathing rhythm. If you really suffer from adnexitis, the pain will not disappear on its own after exercise. There is a clear difference between the two.

Therefore, if you feel pain in the right lower abdomen when you exert force, you must go to the hospital for treatment in time. This way, you can get a more accurate treatment method in the early stages of gynecological inflammation. This is very beneficial to women's physical health and makes them less likely to suffer from other diseases.
