How to treat yellowish purulent leucorrhea

How to treat yellowish purulent leucorrhea

If the leucorrhea is light yellow and purulent, of course you need to pay attention to treatment in this case, because after all, it is a manifestation of gynecological inflammation. If women do not actively treat it, it will also affect their fertility. Here I will introduce to you how to correctly treat and use medications for light yellow and purulent leucorrhea to effectively solve these diseases.

Considering that you have a high possibility of chronic cervicitis (cervical erosion or cervical polyps) combined with vaginitis, it is recommended that you go to the gynecology clinic for a gynecological examination and routine examination of vaginal secretions to confirm the diagnosis. First of all, vaginitis must be treated. The principle of treatment is to use anti-anaerobic drugs, mainly metronidazole and clindamycin.

1. Oral medication, preferably metronidazole 400 mg, twice a day, for 7 consecutive days or clindamycin 300 mg, twice a day, for 7 consecutive days.

2. Local drug treatment: metronidazole suppository, once a night, for 7 consecutive days, or 2% clindamycin ointment vaginally applied, 5g each time, once a night, for 7 consecutive days. You can also choose external drugs such as Shanqing ointment.

3. Sexual intercourse is prohibited during the treatment of this disease, but sexual partners do not need routine treatment.

4. While taking medication, you can use 1-3% hydrogen peroxide to wash the vagina once a day for 7 days, or 1% lactic acid or 0.5% acetic acid to wash the vagina to improve the vaginal environment and improve the efficacy. After the treatment of vaginitis, check the vaginal secretions. If there is cervical erosion, TCT cytology must be done. If it indicates simple cervical inflammation, cervical physical therapy can be performed within 3-7 days after the menstruation is over. Common methods include laser, microwave, and focused ultrasound. Women who have not given birth are recommended to choose focused ultrasound therapy. If there is blood in the leucorrhea caused by cervical polyps, cervical polypectomy must be performed.

I hope that every female friend can learn more about these reproductive health common sense. If you find that the leucorrhea is purulent and light yellow, you should pay attention to principled treatment, because only by focusing on scientific treatment methods can you achieve real results and avoid the impact of these diseases.
