Causes and symptoms of thigh pain in pregnant women

Pregnant women are very likely to suffer from calcium deficiency after pregnancy. For example, many pregnant women do not eat well to supplement the nutrients needed by the body, which may cause calcium deficiency. Calcium deficiency can cause pregnant women to have symptoms such as back pain, physical fatigue, thigh pain, etc. at night. So let us now learn about what to do if pregnant women have thigh pain.

1. The implantation pain caused by the embryo implanting in the uterine cavity in the early pregnancy. If there are no other adverse symptoms during the abdominal pain in the early pregnancy, then the abdominal pain in the early pregnancy is a normal phenomenon.

2. If a pregnant woman experiences paroxysmal lower abdominal pain or regular abdominal pain, back pain, or pelvic pain in the first few months of pregnancy, the problem may be more complicated. If it is accompanied by vaginal spotting or a noticeable feeling of abdominal heaviness, it may indicate threatened abortion.

3. If you experience severe unilateral lower abdominal pain in the early stages of pregnancy, accompanied by vaginal bleeding or fainting, it may be an ectopic pregnancy.

4. Women often complain of symptoms such as sourness, warmth, and upper abdominal pressure, which are the result of stomach pressure caused by the enlarged uterus.

5. During pregnancy, gastrointestinal motility weakens and the stomach muscle tension is low, especially the gastric cardia sphincter relaxation, causing gastric contents to flow back into the lower esophagus, irritating the esophageal mucosa and producing a burning sensation in the stomach area.

6. Due to the enlargement of the uterus and congestion of the pelvic cavity, the ligaments beside the uterus will be affected by the enlarged uterus, causing a feeling of soreness and dull pain in the lower abdomen, especially near the roots of the thighs on both sides, which is near the groin. Abdominal pain in the early stages of pregnancy is generally not severe and does not affect the normal development of the pregnancy.

7. If you have a history of cervicitis and chronic appendicitis, the stimulation of pelvic congestion symptoms on the inflamed area will also cause such discomfort.

From the above we have learned that the main reason for thigh pain in pregnant women is calcium deficiency. We would also like to remind all pregnant friends to remember to eat more nutritious foods and supplement more useful elements in their lives.
