Treatment for hard stomach at night in pregnant women

I believe that all of us have experienced the problem of pregnant women having a hard stomach at night. This disease has brought great distress to our lives and seriously affected our work, study and life. I believe that everyone has tried various ways to treat our disease and restore our health, but the reality is contrary to our wishes. Many people have not received timely treatment, which has caused the condition to continue to worsen. So, is there any good way to treat the problem of pregnant women having a hard stomach at night? Let us now learn about the treatment methods for pregnant women’s hard stomach at night.

Treatment:

1. Eat small meals frequently to help the stomach digest food faster. To effectively relieve bloating, you must start with diet. If a pregnant woman eats a lot of food when she feels bloated, it will increase the burden on gastrointestinal digestion and make the bloating worse. Therefore, pregnant women may wish to change their habit of eating three meals a day to eating six to eight meals a day, with smaller portions at each meal. Be careful not to eat too many kinds of food at each meal, and don’t eat too liquid food, because liquid food is not necessarily easy to digest. On the contrary, pregnant women can choose to eat semi-solid foods such as oatmeal.

2. Develop a daily bowel movement habit - eat more vegetables, fruits and high-fiber foods to promote gastrointestinal motility.

3. Appropriate exercise - Intestinal motility can be promoted through whole body or waist muscle activities. Doing proper exercise such as walking during pregnancy can also promote intestinal motility and relieve bloating. Therefore, it is recommended that pregnant women go for a walk outside for about 20 minutes 30 minutes to 1 hour after a meal to help with bowel movements and gas discharge. Please note that some activities that involve impact or require running too intensely are absolutely not suitable.

4. Take Perilla Drink - Take an appropriate amount of Perilla leaves and add water to boil. The amount and proportion are not limited. It can promote qi circulation and strengthen the spleen and stomach. You can also use tangerine peel (fresh tangerine peel) instead of perilla.

6. Drink enough water - drink boiled water before breakfast and consume at least 2,000cc of water every day.

7. Abdominal massage - Start from the lower right abdomen and massage in a clockwise direction with gentle force, 10 to 20 circles each time, 2 to 3 times a day, which can help relieve abdominal bloating.

8. Taking Wei San - When the bloating is severe, you can take some commercially available Wei San (please consult a doctor before taking it). As long as it is not taken for a long time or in large quantities, it will not affect the fetus.

9. Drink more warm water - If stool accumulates in the large intestine, bloating will become more serious, so pregnant women should drink more warm water, at least 1500cc of water every day. Adequate water can promote bowel movements. It is better to drink warm water than cold water because drinking cold water is more likely to cause intestinal colic. In addition, it is better to drink less soda, coffee, tea and other beverages.

The above content introduces us to how to treat the situation of hard stomach in pregnant women at night. We can treat these problems well through the methods introduced above. These problems seem to be minor illnesses, but they do bring great difficulties to our lives. We should discover and treat them early. I hope it will be helpful to everyone.
