Do drugs for vaginitis really work?

Many women will suffer from vaginitis to a greater or lesser extent, and this disease is not very easy to treat because it requires long-term conditioning and treatment. It cannot be cured quickly by just taking medicine. It is usually closely related to the patient's cleanliness, eating habits, etc. Therefore, if you want to completely cure vaginitis, you must learn to restrain yourself. So are the drugs for vaginitis really effective?

Vaginitis includes: bacterial vaginitis, candidal vaginitis, and trichomoniasis vaginitis. First, you need to do a leucorrhea examination to confirm the bacteria and then use targeted medication for treatment. For external use, you can choose metronidazole effervescent tablets or suppositories, 200 mg at a time, inserted into the vagina before going to bed, for 5 to 7 consecutive days; or Kangfute Bisoprolol suppository, 1 tablet each time, once a day, for 7 consecutive days as a course of treatment. Repeat one course of treatment after the first menstruation after stopping the medication; or take tinidazole effervescent tablets, 1 tablet at a time, 1 time a day, insert into the vagina before going to bed, for 7 consecutive times. For oral administration, you can choose metronidazole tablets, 0.2 grams each time, 3 times a day, for 10 to 14 days; or tinidazole tablets, 2 grams each time, once a day, for 2 days.

Metronidazole is the first choice and is generally considered to have reliable therapeutic effects. The dosage is 0.2-0.4 grams orally each time, 2-3 times a day. If the dose is large or to avoid gastrointestinal reactions, vitamin B6 can be added and the course of treatment is 7 to 10 days.

Locally, vinegar and acidic solutions can be used to regularly flush the vagina, which can improve symptoms and help control the disease. You can also use metronidazole (Flagyl) suppository in the vagina, one every night for one week.

There are many types of vaginitis. According to the different types of vaginitis, we also need to choose different medicines for treatment. Of course, vaginitis is not an incurable disease, but it takes a certain amount of time. Remember not to give up halfway, otherwise vaginitis will gradually become more serious. You must be patient in order to live a healthy life in the future.
