For women, everyone's physique is very different. It is for this reason that many women will have a situation where their menstruation lasts for a very long time. Normally, menstruation lasts for three to one week every month, but for many women, their period lasts for half a month. What is the reason for this? What should female friends pay attention to during this period? Functional uterine bleeding, now referred to as "dysfunctional uterine bleeding" in medicine. "Dysfunctional uterine bleeding" is a common gynecological disease. In cases of menstrual irregularities, examination of the internal and external genitalia shows no obvious organic lesions, excluding pregnancy, tumors, inflammation, trauma or systemic hemorrhagic diseases. Abnormal uterine bleeding caused by dysfunction of the neuroendocrine function regulating reproduction is called functional uterine bleeding, or DUB for short. (1) Pay attention to your physical health. To increase nutrition, eat more protein-rich foods as well as vegetables and fruits. Strive to strike a balance between work and rest in life, avoid heavy physical labor and strenuous exercise, get enough sleep, be in a good spirit, and do not create unnecessary mental stress. (2) Use drugs to stop bleeding. There are two methods of drug hemostasis: one is to make the endometrium fall off completely, which can be done by injecting progesterone; the other is to make the endometrium grow, which can be done by injecting estradiol benzoate. Using some hemostatic drugs, such as Yunnan Baiyao, Anluoxue, vitamin K, hemostatic aromatic acid and hemostatic sensitive, can generally achieve the purpose of hemostasis. (3) Restore ovarian function and regulate menstrual cycle. Generally, drugs such as diethylstilbestrol are taken continuously, 0.5-1 gram per day, for 20 consecutive days. On the last 5 days of medication, 20 mg of progesterone is injected per day. Generally, functional uterine bleeding in adolescence can be cured quickly with age increase and proper treatment. For ovulatory functional uterine bleeding, injection of human chorionic gonadotropin before ovulation may regulate the menstrual cycle. (4) Treatment with traditional Chinese medicine. Traditional Chinese medicine has unique advantages in treating and regulating endocrine function and stopping bleeding, so you should seek treatment from a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner when appropriate. All of the above-mentioned drug treatments must be carried out under the guidance of a doctor and must not be taken on your own without authorization, because the effects of endocrine-regulating drugs are very complex and improper use can cause serious menstrual disorders. Also, no matter what kind of vaginal bleeding, you should go to the hospital for diagnosis and treatment in time to check and rule out organic diseases of the whole body and reproductive system. If your period has not stopped for half a month, you need to go to the hospital for a check-up so that you can understand what kind of conditioning your body needs. This way you will be in better physical condition and can continue your life in the future. Women's menstrual period is a very important period, so women need to take good care of themselves. |
