How many months of pregnancy is it better to do fetal heart monitoring

Children are little angels sent by God, so each of us takes good care of our own children. The adults in the family start preparing for this before the baby is born. Then expectant mothers will have a question to ask, which is, at which month of pregnancy is it better to do fetal heart monitoring? This is a very serious issue that concerns the safety of pregnant women and fetuses. Therefore, we must take this matter seriously. Today, I will tell you at which months of pregnancy it is better to do fetal heart monitoring and the reasons.

Fetal heart rate monitoring is the abbreviation of fetal heart rate, fetal movement and uterine contraction chart. It is a graph that uses an electronic fetal heart rate monitor to record the fetal heart rate curve and uterine contraction pressure waveform for clinical analysis. It is the main detection method for correctly evaluating the condition of the fetus in the uterus. It uses microwave technology and is harmless to children. You only need to buy a fetal heart rate monitor. Especially after the fourth month of pregnancy, it is very important to monitor the baby yourself. What’s interesting is that sometimes you can even hear the baby burping. There are mainly two lines on fetal heart monitoring. The upper one is the fetal heart rate, which fluctuates between 120-160 under normal circumstances. The basic heart rate line is generally manifested as a wavy straight line. When fetal movement occurs, the heart rate will rise, and a curve that protrudes upward will appear. It will slowly decrease after the fetal movement ends. A fetal movement count of >30 times/24 hours is normal, and <10 times every 12 hours indicates fetal hypoxia. The lower line represents the intrauterine pressure, which will increase during uterine contractions and then remain at around 20 mmHg. There are currently three ways to monitor fetal heart rate at home: stethoscope, fetal heart (heart) monitor, and fetal talk monitor. 1. The stethoscope has relatively high technical requirements for finding the fetal heart position, the sound is relatively small, and it is not easy for ordinary people to find, but the price is relatively low. 2. Both fetal heart monitors and fetal talkers use Doppler auscultation technology. Fetal heart monitors can be used to listen to fetal heart rates, and some can display fetal heart rates through LED or LCD screens; 3. Fetal talkers are smart devices that can meet the standards for monitoring fetal heart rates at home. They are used to listen to and record fetal sounds; count fetal heart rates and fetal movements; draw monitoring curves; and share with doctors or friends over the Internet. Their functions are more complete than traditional ones, but they must be connected to mobile phone software and are suitable for pregnant women with Apple and Android phones. Fetal movement 1. If the number of fetal movements is greater than 12 times, it is normal; if the number of fetal movements is less than 10 times in 12 hours, it is a decrease in fetal movement, and you should carefully find the cause and go to the hospital for fetal heart monitoring if necessary. This method is simple, convenient and has a relatively high accuracy rate. Most doctors recommend this method to expectant mothers. 2. B-ultrasound observation: This method is generally for expectant mothers with special conditions, and can only be performed in the hospital.

Now, I believe that all expectant mothers already know when to do fetal heart monitoring. I hope every expectant mother can take good care of her body and the baby can grow up quickly.
