At what age do girls start to develop?

Almost all schools now attach importance to the physical and health education of teenagers. Some children, because they don't understand it, are afraid of their physical or psychological changes when they reach puberty, which leads to delays in their studies. Some women are too shy to face these things. So today I will tell you at what age girls start to develop. What are the characteristics of girls' development?

The developmental period of children: early development type --- 8.5 to 10 years old, medium development type --- 10 to 12 years old, late development type --- 12 to 15 years old. Female sexual development has the following characteristics:

First of all, the development of breasts. When girls reach puberty, their ovaries secrete a large amount of female hormones, which directly affect the development of breasts. Girls' breasts develop at about 12 years old. At this time, the nipples, breast ducts and fat tissues increase, making the breasts protrude outward. The breasts will be rounder and more prominent than before, and the areola will be wider. At this time, a painful nodule will appear around the nipple. If you accidentally touch it, the nipple will hurt, so girls must be careful when exercising or playing. When the breasts mature, the nodule will disappear.

2. Women's buttocks become prominent and their pelvis becomes wider. In addition, their skin becomes delicate, smooth, and soft, and their plump figure shows the feminine beauty and gracefulness of women.

3. Female pubic hair usually develops later than breasts. Armpit hair develops later than pubic hair, and most female armpit hair is sparse.

4. The characteristic of female sexual maturity is that it is marked by regular ovulation every month. This regular ovulation indicates that the woman has reached sexual maturity and has the ability to conceive and give birth. The external manifestation of this ability is that her menstruation has become regular.

The secondary sexual characteristics, as external changes of women, are more eye-catching: at the age of 9-10, breasts begin to develop, which is the first secondary sexual characteristic displayed by girls and a sign of puberty; at the age of 11, pubic hair appears; at the age of 12-13, the nipples and areola continue to grow larger, but still blend in with the entire breast contour; pubic hair continues to increase and develops towards the mons pubis and the middle abdominal wall, changing from thin to thick and the pigmentation gradually settles.

Girls will have their first menstruation after they turn 13 (some girls earlier), but it is usually still irregular. In the first one or two years, the ovarian function is not yet complete or mature enough to ovulate. At the same time or later as the first menstruation, axillary hair begins to grow, and pubic hair presents a female-specific inverted triangle distribution, with the base parallel to the level of the pubic symphysis. Glands in the areola area develop, forming a second bulge on the fuller and enlarged breasts. At the age of 14-15, regular ovulatory menstruation may occur. The breasts mature, with nipples protruding from the clearly defined breasts. At the age of 16-17, development is close to maturity.

The above is some introduction to girls’ development, including the age of development and general characteristics. If there are still some young women who do not understand this knowledge, please read the above content. I hope it can help everyone. You can also communicate more with parents in your daily life. Don’t let these small problems bother you and face them correctly.
