Causes of acne during early pregnancy

Causes of acne during early pregnancy

Every girl loves beauty, but pregnant mothers may encounter such a problem: the originally smooth and flawless face will constantly get acne in the early stages of pregnancy, which makes the mother feel sad. You should know that maintaining a good mood during pregnancy is very beneficial to both the child and the pregnant woman. So let me introduce to you the reasons for acne in the early stages of pregnancy.

Women often experience worsening of their acne during pregnancy or postpartum breastfeeding. Some patients even report that they develop acne after becoming pregnant. In fact, this is all the result of the sebaceous glands being stimulated by hormones. The face is more oily than usual, and pregnant women are under great pressure in life and work. If they also lack sleep or stay up late, acne and pimples will continue to pop up.

1. Secretion imbalance

Endocrine disorders can also cause acne. Many women will get acne on their faces and necks during their menstrual period. This is caused by endocrine disorders during menstruation. 1-2 weeks before a woman's menstrual period, her ovaries will secrete flavonoids and androgens, which will cause the cuticle to become thicker and the body's immunity will decrease, making it more likely to develop acne.

2. Excessive oil secretion

Regulate the balance of water and oil. When you have acne, if the use of skin care products cannot adjust the balance of water and oil, it will aggravate the growth of acne, so it is particularly important to choose an acne removal product that suits you. Studies have shown that acne-removing products containing oatmeal, licorice, and salvia miltiorrhiza plant ingredients are very effective in hydrating and removing acne. For example, the Puzhilan plant-based acne-removing product that many people are using now contains the above ingredients. No matter what kind of acne-removing product you use, hydration must be the foundation, and then acne removal, otherwise everything will be in vain.

3. Squeeze pimples

After you get a pimple, you should never squeeze it directly with your hands, because the bacteria carried by your hands when they come into contact with the outside world can cause a secondary infection to the skin, making the original acne skin worse; in addition, even if you wash your hands clean, squeezing the pimple with a little force can cause subcutaneous congestion, forming ugly acne scars that are difficult to disappear.

4. Dietary stimulation

Frequent consumption of spicy, fried and sweet foods such as spicy hot pot, barbecue, desserts, etc. can cause internal inflammation and metabolic disorders. A common symptom is that pimples set up camp on the face and appear one after another. Acne on the face is mainly related to the excessive secretion of sebum, so you should eat less food that can increase sebum, such as: fried foods, fatty meat, cream, sweets, etc. In addition, you should try to control the intake of irritating foods, such as drinking, onions, ginger, garlic, chili peppers, pepper, coriander, etc.

It is very common to get acne in the early stages of pregnancy. There are many reasons for this, and sometimes it is not caused by a single reason, so it is not easy to solve. However, pregnant mothers must remember one thing: do not take medicine casually. Some medicines may have a bad effect on the fetus in the body, so the best way is to go to the hospital to see a doctor.
