What to do if pregnant women are allergic to mangoes

In daily life, due to personal physical reasons, many times, since everyone's physical constitution is different, it is easy to cause food allergies when eating. The phenomenon of mango allergy is very high. Pregnant women are allergic to mangoes, which has become a common problem. So what should we do about this problem in life?

What to do if you are allergic to mango?

If you are allergic to mangoes, you can rinse with ice water. First of all, ice water can wash away some residual mango juice on the skin that is prone to cause allergies. Secondly, after being allergic to mangoes, we will experience redness, swelling, itching, and some burning sensations. Washing with ice water can calm the skin, reduce the redness, swelling and burning sensation, and it also has a good anti-itching effect.

In addition, there are two small ways to prevent mango allergies before eating mangoes:

Method 1: Choose fully ripe mangoes, wash them clean (not only is it hygienic to eat, but also because some dealers use quicklime when storing immature mangoes), cut the mangoes into small pieces and eat them with toothpicks, avoiding contact with lips and facial skin. After eating mangoes, it is best to wash off the mango juice stuck on the skin with clean water.

Method 2: If it is your first time to eat mango, or if you are not paying enough attention when eating mango, you can take vitamin C before eating mango to enhance the body's resistance and improve allergies. Many friends don’t know that vitamin C has a wide range of uses, one of which is that it can be used as an auxiliary treatment for allergic diseases.

Why do people have allergies when eating mango?

Theoretically, it is the mango juice that causes the allergy. The ingredient called "aldehyde acid" contained in the juice can irritate the skin and mucous membranes and cause allergies. Especially when the mango is not ripe, white juice will ooze out from the fruit stem, which is more likely to cause allergies. The manifestation of mango allergy is mainly the appearance of papules on and around the lips, which are fine and dense, and the skin is dry and red. If patients with cough or asthma eat mango, it may cause cough or asthma attack or aggravate it.

In the above article, we introduced the allergy to mangoes in pregnant women. First of all, it is caused by some physical reasons, coupled with low immunity or intolerance to fruits. You can choose economical and practical ones.
