What are the different types of abortion procedures?

Science and technology are becoming more and more advanced, and some minor diseases are becoming less and less harmful to our bodies. We are not unfamiliar with abortion surgery in daily life. There are many types of abortion surgery. Here we will introduce the types of surgical procedures.

Early artificial abortion was mainly performed by curettage, that is, after dilating the cervix with surgical instruments, the curettage instrument was inserted into the uterine cavity to scrape out the gestational sac, thereby terminating the pregnancy. This is a blind curettage operation, which causes great damage to the uterus. At the same time, if the force is not controlled well, it may cause serious consequences such as uterine perforation. Therefore, it has been basically abandoned at present.

At present, the main types of abortion surgeries commonly used in clinical practice are as follows: Painless abortion: Since women need to endure great pain during traditional abortion surgeries, the surgery is basically performed in a painless way, that is, intravenous anesthesia is performed before the operation to reduce the pain of the patient.

Superconducting visual painless abortion: Based on ordinary painless abortion, ultrasound is used to locate the position of the gestational sac in the uterine cavity. The surgeon can observe the situation in the uterine cavity through the B-ultrasound display instrument, thereby reducing the damage to the endometrium caused by blind curettage and reducing the risk of surgery.

Micro-tube visual painless abortion: It is a less traumatic abortion method that has appeared in the past two years. It is based on superconducting visual painless abortion and has completely changed the surgical model. The original surgery was done by "scraping", while micro-tube painless abortion uses a thin tube "suction" method assisted by a negative pressure aspirator. In this way, the damage to the endometrium will be less. In recent years, it has been sought after by most women with unexpected pregnancies.

Double-chamber decompression painless abortion: Based on the micro-tube visual painless abortion, an intra-chamber pressure balancing device is added. Clinically, it has been found that inexperienced doctors are unable to control the pressure of the negative pressure aspirator well during micro-tube painless abortion, resulting in too little intra-uterine pressure during the operation, leading to uterine blood retrograde flow, causing postoperative adnexitis and serious consequences. Therefore, a double hose method is used to balance the intra-uterine pressure and prevent functional blood retrograde flow. This is double-chamber decompression painless abortion.

The above is the process of abortion. Through the above understanding, we can better understand that when choosing an abortion, we should not make a blind choice. We should choose the appropriate surgical method based on our own body and specific conditions. Only in this way can we avoid various injuries caused by the abortion to our body.
