Below we will introduce to you the reasons for frequent and painful urination in women.

Frequent, painful and hematuria in women are mainly caused by urinary tract infection, which is caused by direct invasion of the virus. Urinary tract infections are divided into upper urinary tract infections and lower urinary tract infections. Upper urinary tract infection refers to pyelonephritis, and lower urinary tract infection includes urethritis and cystitis.

Clinical manifestations of urinary tract infection:

1. Urinary tract irritation symptoms, namely frequent urination, urgency, pain, and discomfort during urination. These symptoms may vary in severity in different patients. Patients with acute inflammation often have obvious signs of urinary tract irritation, while mild cases only cause discomfort.

2. Systemic poisoning symptoms, such as fever, chills, headache, etc. It is mainly seen in patients with upper urinary tract infection, especially acute urinary tract infection and patients with urinary tract obstruction.

3. Low back pain is a common clinical symptom, and kidney and perirenal diseases are one of the common causes of low back pain. When the renal capsule, renal pelvis, and ureter are irritated or the tension increases, it can cause pain in the lower back. Lower urinary tract infection generally does not cause lower back pain. Inflammation of the kidney and surrounding areas, such as renal abscess, perinephritis, perirenal abscess, and acute pyelonephritis, often causes persistent and severe pain in the lower back. The low back pain caused by chronic pyelonephritis is often soreness.

Precautions

Drink more water, eat more fruits, especially supplement vitamin C, because vitamin C can increase the acidity of urine, making it difficult for various bacteria that cause urinary tract infections to survive.

To avoid contamination, wipe with clean toilet paper after defecation, from front to back to avoid contaminating the urethral opening.
