Preventive care for uterine fibroids

Preventive care for uterine fibroids

The words "uterine fibroids" are familiar to everyone, and the hospital's disease information column will also have an introduction to related diseases. Having said that, no one would feel comfortable if they suffer from this disease. Regardless of what uterine fibroids are, just hearing the name of the disease is enough to make people shudder. It is still very scary in my impression. Those memories about uterine fibroids are just from my childhood.

1. Regularly participate in gynecological examinations to facilitate early detection and early treatment.

2. Those with uterine fibroids should take good contraceptive measures. Once pregnant, abortion surgery will be difficult and bleeding may occur.

3. When using traditional Chinese medicine to treat uterine fibroids, regular gynecological examinations and B-ultrasound examinations should be performed to understand the changes in uterine fibroids. If the following conditions are found, surgical treatment should be performed:

(1) Those with obvious symptoms, especially menorrhagia or abdominal pain, who have not responded to treatment.

(2) Uterine fibroids that grow rapidly or are larger than a 3-month pregnant uterus.

(3) Uterine fibroids with degeneration.

(4) Uterine fibroids are located in the cervix of the uterus or protrude into the vagina.

4. Treatment of uterine fibroids complicated with pregnancy

(1) During pregnancy, the woman should be closely monitored to prevent miscarriage or premature birth. If the fibroids are too large to continue the pregnancy, surgery should be performed as soon as possible.

(2) During delivery, care should be taken to avoid abnormal fetal position, delayed labor and retained placenta. If a fibroid blocks the birth canal, a cesarean section may be required.

(3) Pay attention to preventing bleeding and infection after delivery.

Population at risk: Compared with more than a decade ago, uterine fibroids are increasingly prevalent among middle-aged women in their thirties and forties, especially those who are childless, have sexual dysfunction, and have depression. Gynecological experts say that the specific cause of uterine fibroids is still unclear, but studies have shown that excessive hormone secretion is the most common cause of uterine fibroids, and these three behavioral patterns of women are the culprits that cause endocrine disorders and excessive hormone secretion.

Maybe the days were too peaceful back then, the memory is still vivid. I have never been able to forget the tear-stained face of that classmate - this disease took the life of the mother of a primary school classmate. Maybe it was because I was still young at that time and did not feel the impermanence of life. I just secretly felt in my young heart that this was a terrible disease.
